Shane Basically got called out on numerous forums - shortly after the Owner's vote.
A lot of old-time California posters kept asking for him to explain why he got it so wrong....

Basically in a nutshell - he said he was given incorrect information by "his sources".
..
What he failed to answer -- was if that information was not 100% reliable....
Why did he get on his high-horse and mislead all those readers in Saint Louis - saying the move would not likely happen.
And then he got snotty - when posters questioned him (and his sources).
When posters get preachy - it's nice to see Karma step in and correct things.
