The estimated tag cost for CBs is $13.7M. So invest $25M/yr in CB with the holes on the offensive side of the ball? Doubt that. IMO, one of the two is signing elsewhere just because of supply and demand and the amount of money available.

That tag pricing is a bit stiff. I hope TruJo is excited to work in GW's system, play on this young rising squad and play in LA. Let's not forget to keep his agent under control to not be to greedy. Yeah let's hope all that happens.

Rams are under the cap, will have room if they make more cuts, the cap is going to be increased and even if they franchise him they can negotiate a long term deal.
I'd love to have both Jenks and Tru locked up

I don't think this is a sign that he is signing soon. If you read his caption below, it says: Until further notice. Which I take means that he is going to LA until something in the FA period comes up...

I'd love to keep both but i think we have a better chance of losing both. The offers are probably going to be crazy...

Sure so would I, but not at the tune of $25M or $20M per year. That would be the highest investment in a pair CBs in the history of pro football.

The market for both players is..

10-12 mill a year.

But it only takes one desperate team to give more. Curse that team if they do that.

Have to get this done before free agency.

JT tweeted that he heard the Rams might transition Tru Johnson. Lock up JJ, transition TJ until a long term deal can be done. JT also said the team thinks they have a good shot at Barron and Hayes. I would love to see all that happen. And the instagram about the migos wanting to stay together is encouraging. McCleod isn't as valuable as the others but he's a solid fit in that defense. We could do worse.

I doubt they need to, but if they need more cap room cutting Saffold wouldn't bother me a bit. He ain't gonna play more than 10 games anyway. Might not even play 10. He's an injury waiting to happen.
