I honestly doubt that Manning comes out next year. Two reasons, with two complete seasons to show teams he isn't just a one season wonder he will more likely be the consensus number one pick. The second is he stands to make big money next year from the school etc.

I mentioned Allar last year because he initially was going to come out but changed his mind. If he has a good year he can't be dismissed. He's a decent to good prospect and is a fit for McVay's offense.

Sellers is another good fit for McVay's offense and I like him almost as much as Manning in some ways. There are some issues that need to be watched this year. If he cleans those up he will be a top prospect.

Nico Iamaleava is an under rated talent. He transferred to UCLA this year to play close to his family and friends since he was born and raised in Long Beach, CA. He also wants to be where the Rams can't overlook him. He's got a lot of traits I think the Rams would like. If he stays where he's at in terms of rankings and the Atlanta pick is around mid round the Rams might not have to use the second first round pick to get him. Nico needs polish in his technique not development.

If all these guys come out then there will be more than one prospect the Rams will be looking at. Because of the cost of Stafford they might be looking for a QB who can play as a rookie. That might narrow the field. Regardless, I think the Rams have their long term #2QB in Jimmy G.

Stafford is on a very affordable deal. His status as Rams QB for 2026 will almost completely be decided based on his and the team’s performance this season. If his performance falls off a cliff, he gets injured 🙏🤞, the Rams win the SB and he retires, or he just retires, then a rookie MIGHT start in 2026. The smart play would be re sign JG and have him start while the rookies learns in 2026 if Stafford is not the guy.

All this goes out the window if the Rams trade for Burrow or some other top vet - not probable, but possible.

All of those scenarios - sans a new top-level vet QB - has a rookie backing up and watching/learning in 2026. All those college QBs look promising to varying degrees. None of them look NFL ready right now. That could change of course.

That’s my take on it

Assuming Spotrac is right and Stafford's deal has $80 mil guaranteed, that means he's very likely to be the QB next year too, at least that's what the Rams are planning for.

So no guarantee they address QB in the 2026 draft either. I know it seems pretty likely but just laying it out there.

Jimmy G. just doesn't seem like he has enough of an arm to be a contender but we know McVay likes him and allegedly was prepared to roll with him this year had Stafford gone elsewhere. I don't see it but i'm not the one who has to.

With Iamaleava being a Bruin, good chance i end up with an opinion on him, probably be hard to miss Arch as well...

I said on here the Rams would trade for Joe Burrow. You can look at the post. Look at the post.

This is if Burrow is disgruntled. I dont see that happening. Because they just paid for his boy Jamar Chase and Tee Higgins they are doing offense. Giving Burrow his toys. The complete opposite of what the Chiefs did with Mahomes and Tyreke Hill.

If the Burrow thing happens its cause a Stafford. Hey we tried lets look for a trade.

Dare this goes to you. Manning Freshman a junior sophomore whenever he comes out for the draft hes the number 1 pick. No questions. The name by itself. But the prospect. :lol2: Nobody is saying I gotta see if hes a one year wonder with Arch Manning.

The kid was running like Tebow and throwing like his uncle. Hes closer to Peyton than Eli. Hes got Coopers legs and Athleicsm and Peytons arm. Thats a franchise Quarterback. Everybodys tanking for him. Don’t get excited.jimmy Irsay is getting him.

Iamalva is a fucking savage. is a baller. Dude has so much zip to him. Hes got the most Wow in the draft. If he can put a little weight on 5 to 10 pounds. He will be elite. Every draft I look at my Mahomes. Hes my Mahomes. Hes got home run abliity. Tennessee was scoring all over the place because of his arm. His ability to process. His elite arm talent. He’s the number 2 prospect on my board. And will be a Ram Long Beach kid from Long Beach. And hes got Mobility. I say we get him 10-15

Klubiack is good similar to Lawrence. I told y’all about him when I thought he was coming out. But he went back and pulled a manning. Mcvay is going to fall in love with this guy. He has great mobility. His ability to process. Great kid. This fucking draft is loaded with Quarterback talent.

Mussinger probably the best arm of the group. Not mobile a Stafford. Your typical prototypical pocket Passer. Troy Aikman. Dad was a coach in the NFL. He knows the game. Has played with elite talent. Very very good arm. He’s a franchise Quarterback. He can be our pick.

4 franchise guys. Staffords not going to play forever for us. He will be next season and this season. But we are drafting the Quarterback. The kid might play this season but I doubt it. Stafford will get his world tour and then the kid will play. I dont see a Kirk Cousins.

I do see the Rams winning the super bowl. Anything other then that getting to the NFC championship.

And Arch wouldve played this season but they were being nice to Ewers Sarkasian had to play Ewers cause of bullshit. Ewers should not have been starting. Sarkisian fucked up there.

Thanks for the help with the QB collecting @ramsman34 !

Here's a few of my initial impressions:

Arch: I like that interview. Whether the humility is all PR training or genuine, it's nice to hear that he accepts he should at the very least EARN some of his hype. Not that the Manning's are in need of money, but the Redbull NIL has got to be a pretty penny. Also....I don't know if it's his caedence of what but I get legit Stafford vibes listening to him talk. As for the actual QB part, you can already see he's got the tools. I really want to see what he does with a full year on the field.

Iamaleava: @ramman2999 says he's this drafts Mahoms, but watching the highlight reels all I could think was, "this guy plays like a more athletic Jaden Daniels". Which is just, even conceptually, an insane thing.

Beck: Is a straight up pass unless he does some seriously amazing stuff this season.

Nussmeier: This dudes arm motion is SOOOO fast!! I think it was @ramsman34 that said this kid's got "something". I agree. You can see it. Ramman2999 said Aikman....yeah, I can totally see that comp. I was seeing shades of Elway.

Drew Allar: I like everything I see. Nothing really blows me away, I don't see a wow factor BUT, the most pro-ready to my eyes.

Zen Ronin

What a post man. I agree with you. Spot on.

Illamava I mean the guy has that Mahomes where everyone talked about Watson but Mahomes had that shit that’s the guy who can be the best in this whole draft. Throws the shit out of the ball mobile and just has that zip. He’s the guy that everybody is like damn if we got him we could win a Super Bowl. Cause you just want to watch him throw the ball. Daniels was like that. Caleb Williams was like that. Caleb Williams was the consensus number 1 pick. But Daniels was the guy with the buzz. Bryce Young was like that. The consensus number 1 but CJ Stroud had that buzz.

Yeah Mussigner might be the Mahomes and Mcvay might be locking in on him. That might be the guy Mcvay is locking in on. I don’t even want to think of our skill players with him. With his arm talent. A couple of super bowls with him or it’s a failure.

Adding that to Nacua Hunter Ferguson and Adams that’s an explosive team. I’ll throw in Atwell and Whittington.

Lots of weapons. This draft is Quarterback loaded.

I don’t put Ellers in the same category with those guys.

Didn’t even mention Klubianak

So the fact that we have our pick and this falcons pick is incredible. We can actually package this pick if there’s a Quarterback we really like. Last time we did this was for Jerod Goff worked out pretty good for us and got us a Super Bowl.

When you look at the bad teams Tennessee will have their Quarterback the Giants have their Quarterback.

The only teams that scream tank to me. Are the Jets Browns Colts and surprisingly the Steelers because they don’t have a Quarterback on their roster. Internally where they like hey take a season off and get a Quarterback in the loaded draft.????

I think we’re sitting in a pretty position

5 possibly franchise Quarterbacks and we have two first round picks while contending for a Super Bowl that’s awesome. We reload while competing for a Super Bowl with Matthew Stafford.

Arch Manning you’re gonna get that polished interview. His uncle is Eli Manning. His uncle is Peyton Manning. He’s been prepped. He knows what to say. The kid is a prodigy. The kid gets that.

Mahomes was like that. His dad played MLB

Even Bryce Young they say the right things.

Arch definitely is going to be more robotic.

What I can tell you it’s just my opinion most focused polished kid we’ve seen since Trevor Lawerence. We saw that outa him. Remember Trevor after winning a championship and beating Saban as a Freshman everybody wanted him. I see this the same.

Only thing is in Trevor’s draft there was nobody else Zach Wilson Trey Lance Justin Fields.
