I agree with those who say that Prime will be an issue with SS for his entire career and hes just not worth it. Prime of course just cant help himself.

I wouldnt be surprised if SS ends up in Dallas somehow. The NFL now considers itself entertainment, and there would be no bigger daily melodrama than to mix Jerry, Prime, SS and whoever the coach is. The poor coaches life would suck of course, but someone will always take it.

Its going to be a drama because of Prime no matter what. And I know the Rams are smart enough to just pass. I feel for the fans of whatever teams have to deal with SS.

Switching sports to the NBA but remember Lorenzo and his brother’s dad def having an impact (negative) on teams looking at his sons.

I think that is at least a bit in play here with Prime TIme

We can all dunk on the guy for falling out of the 1st round but he's probably going at the top of the 2nd and no matter what, will come down to whether or not he can play which i think is an open question at best...

Oh, he can definitely play. I don't actually think that's a question. But I think his level of talent is the big question. I don't think he's a top 10 talent. But I don't think he's bottom 10 either. I watched enought of him this year, oddly by accident, that I don't doubt he can be successful in the NFL. There are just too many strings attached for me.

But I agree with you. I think he goes pretty quickly today.

He’s going to be one of those chip on their shoulders type. No idea the results but that vibe has worked and failed famously

does Shedeur have the elite talent that makes him worthy of being a 1st round pick?

I haven't watched him play. But I've read and heard plenty. It seems like his floor is probably higher than Ward and Dart's. But his ceiling is lower. The one guy he seems most compared to is Teddy Bridgewater. Bridgewater makes for a fine backup. But as a starter the only adjective that comes to mind is bland.

I would not use a first round pick on a guy like that. Even without the attitude. With the attitude, I might consider him on day 3. If a team is looking for a silver lining maybe this draft experience will humble him and he plays with a chip on his shoulder. Wanting to prove everyone wrong. But chances are, at some point his true self will emerge.

What if Daddy Prime becomes Shedeur's head coach in a year or two?

This year's draft has been much more entertaining; I wish Prime was "miked up".
