Right? Nothing is 100%.

Jourdan thinks Rams will try to draft a QB and to her that means round 2 or 3. Doesn't mean it will happen but to me it means, it's one of the things that might happen...

As for pick #26, Jordan Love was picked at that slot. And the Packers were definitely looking for Rodgers' successor when they did that.

You just never know.

well you are talking about unicorns, I dont believe that is the Rams plan for a QB of the future. I think they could have some interest in Dart or Shuck at the right draft capitol but certainly not in round 1 (I am sure of it).

IMO again if the right Qb falls to them they make a selection, if not find one in the deep 2026 QB draft. There just arent great QB talent in this draft.

A lot of us scratched our heads at the trade to get Fiske. Some said it was downright stupid. The Rams are going to make some moves that none of us expect. If it’s a QB anywhere in this draft, that will be a move ai did not expect. If the Rams do take a QB anywhere rounds 1-3 I think it indicates they think that guys is a future starter. Would make zero sense otherwise. I’d still like to see a trade for Hendon Hooker to upgrade QB 3 and see what he has as a possible starter. Or at least a back up after JG moves on.

From the horse's mouth- Les Snead at the annual meetings today..

Given the year-to-year arrangement with Matthew Stafford – and recent analyst projections for the 26th pick – it made sense that Snead was asked if the Rams were opening to drafting one this year at that spot.

"Always open to drafting a quarterback," Snead said. "I can realistically say often it's, usually another team who gets into that more serious level than we are, usually drafts that player, maybe earlier than we would."

Snead also indicated the Rams won't reach for a quarterback at No. 26 overall, and understand another team may want to trade into the first round at that pick point for one.

"If a team really thinks that player's their next QB, it's not like they're going, 'hey let's wait until the middle of the second round to pick him, let's do it now.'

"If the right guy fell to 26, maybe he's the right guy for another team. They might want to move into the first round and draft that right guy. Maybe that's better for the Rams than picking that right guy."

Snead also downplayed the urgency of addressing the position.

"We're very well aware that there is a life after Matthew coming at some point," Snead said. "When that is, I mean, it could be two, three years from now. So it's not urgent for us right now."

So somebody makes a claim you don't think has merit or anything else to support it.
So F'n what? I come on here to read about my all-time fav team and welcome anyone's opinion, whether I agree or not. No need to make snide remarks about someone else's terminology. It's just petty.

Many moons ago I left the St Louis News Dispatch over someone choosing to publicly deride my nickname "Safer", because I actually had the balls to state I didn't understand why NFL teams didn't trade players and picks like the NBA and MLB did back in the day. That asshole got kicked off of their board and I was suspended for two weeks. Why? Because I had an original idea that DID come to pass and my nickname is simply the first five letters of my last name.
Living up in Solvang, I've only met three of you; Elvis; Hacksaw (RIP) and Ramsman. I've enjoyed my interactions with all three!
Isn't it time NOT to be in agreement with another's opinion and NOT call them out? Just learn whose opinion you value (or don't) and choose to read accordingly.
And now................back to getting on top of what our fav team is going to do (yes, all 147 ways to do it!) ;)

I just don't see them taking a QB in the first round, reason being,
their goal is to make it to the SB the next two years.
(Especially we're playing in Sofi again during season 2026)

They have QB1 & QB2 in place.
You don't waste a pick for a guy that is going to sit on the bench as QB3 during a SB run.

Their needs are in two positions: ILB & a Swing T.
(Unless they figured that Leveston can fit that T spot,
but I figured they brought him in to be a power guard.)
McClendon is not that guy who can be that swing T,
and not miss a beat on our OL if he had to replace our T.

I would say, if there is not a top notch ILB or T, WR, TE, or CB that fell to us at 26,
then trade down and then take the best available players in our first pick.

You also don’t draft a QB in the first round unless you feel he is a franchise altering player. Even if the Rams went the Jordan Love route; is there a Jordan love in this class at pick #26?? Maybe?? I don’t see a QB pick in early rounds either.

Everyone here has valid arguments and opinions. Whether it's this draft, be it in the first round or later, the one thing that is readily apparent that the Rams by their own admission are in the hunt for the next QB1.

I don't see FA QBs as a long term answer because of cost which is why I feel that this draft will be where they grab a QB1. Bennett was a wasted pick IMO. The Rams do scout well so I can only assume they have targeted players. Bennett was by McVay's own admission was a pick by members of his staff outside of the usual scouting structure.

Well we will know in less than a month.

This is not the draft to find your future quarterback. I believe Stafford will stick around for a couple more years. We'll go through the same thing next offseason. Worrying about whether or not he walks or they trade him. But I think ultimately he sticks around for another go at it. He knows at this stage of his career its no longer about money. He'll always be a millionaire his whole life. The Hall of Fame is important to him. His best chance to be a first ballot is with his current team.

Have I heard something? No. Do I have sources? No. But I do have this little black ball that looks like an 8 ball. I shake it. It gives me an answer. Its never wrong. Although sometimes I have to shake a few times to get the right answer.
