Okay, so you take a team that was 1 play from a likely Superbowl run and you blow it up by ditching the QB and RB (Kyren) and possible WR1/2 in Kupp.

The way I see it, the Rams are going all in next season. They likely have one season left with Stafford (at best), so I expect them to keep Kupp on reduced contract. I thought Kupp looked better against the Eagles, might just need to give him more plays off throughout the season. Good news is he can have a full off-season again, no injuries.

Anyway back to all in. I could see the Rams making trades for players. I am looking at you Maxx Crosby. Add to a great DL, smother teams with pressure. Maybe a stud WR looking to get out of a rebuild, they are out there. But overall I see the Rams be very aggressive.

As far the draft....

QB- cant depend on someone coming available, if you like someone's upside, draft him. Training under Stafford would elevate any QB. Look at the remaining QB's you have to get a stud or we cant beat Allen, Jackson, Mahomes, Daniels etc etc.

CB, ILB, WR, TE, DT

Personally I would consider drafting WR high, as we speed & size at that position and you have to pay up for that. or a game breaking TE. Like to get CB with one our 3rd round picks.

I dont love Hufanga, he is dumb as a box of rocks, takes bad angles. Rams will go after critical positions like pass rusher, shutdown corner (Ramsey?) and offensive weapons IMO. Maybe another tackle?

Maybe Trevor would be the guy....but maybe it has to be the 2026 draft for like you say a mobile passer. I would def look in 2025 as well. Have to make the most of this defensive group while they are low paying. Or trade our draft for Arch Manning.

Wouldn't doubt it. Seattle LOVES to sign ex Rams. They may sign more of our former players than any other team in the league...

I don't think Sean has any issue with developing a QB. But it's all about who the QB is. I have always been of the personal opinion that his fallout w/ Goff sprouted from McVay working so hard as to nearly drive himself insane (well documented by Jourdan), while Goff took off an off season and took a lax attitude towards his own personal progress, growth, development, and training. Goff very much used McVay as a security blanket, and I think that spurned a lot of resentment in Sean over time.

Sean was doing everything possible to win, 24/7 365, and Goff simply wasn't. When it became clear that Jared's growth had slowed (if not completely stopped) due to his own relaxed persona, Sean couldn't deal with it. After that, every little mole hill became a mountain. That's why I think being thrown to Detroit was always the best thing to happen to Goff, because it reignited his desire to better himself. Maybe not in the healthiest way, and largely based on spite I'm sure but you can't argue that he isn't a betteer QB today, than he was with us.

But both are better off for that trade, with or without their varying degrees of success. Of course this is all personal speculation. We won't find out for another 20 years or more, when some tell all documentaries come out.

ANYWAY, I think if McVay found a yound QB with the right maturity, drive, and football IQ, he'd revel in that partnership. Sean has also grown a lot personally since the whole Goff fallout. He's matured a ton, and will grow even more patience and as a teacher/mentor the longer he's a father.

I do however have this little tickle of fear in the back of my mind than things don't work out with Stafford and we end up signing Rodgers.

Im telling yall Trevor is the guy monitor that. We have the capital and will build the capital well acquire the assests to make it happen. Trevor in L.A. were like the Lakers we trade. Ant And I saw the Stafford stuff when that happened. We get superstars grrat great Quarterbacks. I see Lawrence waning Wanting to work with the best. Guys want to work with the best. Guys want to play for Mcvay guys want to play here.

Trevor Lawrence is that guy.
