You have some serious issues dude. I assumed you were younger due to your sophomoric comments and inability to enjoy a conversation with differing opinions. You’re simply a troll looking for a new bridge to live under.

I wouldn't say they've "grown up," but that's only because I think that, as well as they are playing individually and as a unit, they have not peaked.

This Sunday, we'll see a bigger test. I'm hopeful they will pass but, whatever the outcome, I'm very excited to see where this D will be a year from now, and even two years from now.

Not sure how i would define grown up but i'm personally less skeptical about the defense than i have been all year.

You could say they were bend but don't break a lot of games this year. But at times they bent to ridiculous extremes.

Not Monday against the Vikings. Excellent outing, no caveats.

On to Philadelphia...

Your posts in and of themselves are differing opinions. But I get it. :lol2:

I'd say, they're all grown up.

They all have a year in their belts under McVay/Shula system.

The season end over a week ago,

It's a second season, the playoffs.

I don't see the Eagles changing their scheme against the RAMs.

That will be an advantage for McVay,

He will out coach the Eagles coaching staff. IMO

And when we win,

I want to see what excuses that LeSean McCoy will have on the Facility sport talk show!

Since he talks like the Eagles are playing some JV team!!!

ramsww wrote:The Philly replay will be on NFL Network. You may want to watch it. I haven't but I believe we tried to rush the QB and they killed us with delayed runs, sweeps, swing passes and screens. The Rams weren't seasoned enough yet and got sucked in every time. Barkley had over 300 yards.

Before reading your lecture to PARAM, I went and watched the replay on NFL+ ... in the all-22 mode ... thus I got two perspectives of every play, and was able to rewind them as I wanted ... some plays I did rewind more than once.

They didn't kill us with "delayed runs, sweeps, swing passes and screens" .... they killed us with 2 TE sets and the Rams stubbornly refusing to think they could stop the run with 6 in the box. My grandmother would have gotten at least 200 yards.

The Rams still may not be able to stop the run, but it will be different this game, and it will be better.

And who knows ... maybe the Rams run defense will grow up ;) I'm hoping they do.

btw PARAM is not a troll

Call it what you like. no sense of humor and way too sensitive. No interest in engaging with him more on any level. I complimented his support and continued confidence in the Rams D. No need to dialogue with him in the future.

PA has an awesome sense of humor. And he knows ball and he’s mostly a positive fan. Let’s leave the personal shit outta this. I get it. You’re fired up and you’re concerned. That’s fine. Up to you how you feel.

As far as the OP / they have matured. They have plenty of growth ahead of them. They will grow because of and through this next game.

I believe Shula will scheme adjust. And the front 7 will not let Sawuon do we ha did last time. Will that be enough to win? Not by itself. The offense has to match scores at minimum. The defense needs to create a turnover or two. STs has to be better than their STs.

This is a trench warfare game. They have the size advantage. They have the All Pro/Pro Bowlers advantage. On paper, they should win; easily.

They aren’t playing on paper. I like our chances. I don’t know why. I just do.
