They have 2 rookie injury replacements, 1 a 6th round pick and 1 a UDFA. But they allowed no sacks against the Vikes, who coming in were 3rd in the league in sacks and 4th in pressure percentage. Plus the Rams could run the ball.Well PFR boxscore stats on pressures in a game are in now for the Rams/Vikes game. It was less than 12% according to PFR. There were 4 pressures on Stafford, which amounted to 11.8%. (Rams in contrast pressured Darnold at a rate of 37.9%). Before the game the Vikes were 3rd in the league in defensive pressure percentage. After the Rams game, they are still 3rd in the league at 30.2%. If the Vikes got pressure at an 11.8% rate in all 7 games, they would rank 32nd in the league. That's how low 11.8% is. In fact the current worst team in the league in terms of pressure percentage, Carolina, averages 12.4%. And like I said the Rams pressure rate against the Vikes was 37.9%. If they got that pressure rate every game across 7 games, they would rank 1st in the league by a substantial margin. 1 by Dare 1 month 3 weeks ago Total posts: 385 Joined: Mar 09 2024 Tucson, AZ formerly of San Diego Starter Give it up for the OL POST #12 As it is beginning to look, the hiring of Wendell was key to the development of this team. I knew Limmer was good when they took him in the draft. But Dedich has come out of nowhere to play very well as a UDFA rookie. Props to him and to Wendell. I also felt KT Leveston has potential as an OG. If he turns out as well as Limmer and Dedich this OL will be just fine on the interior. KT can also play RT so that could also end up being his eventual destination. But I feel that Dotson was viewed as a bridge starter for Leveston. But with the play of Dedich is playing as well or better than Dotson, it could change how the Rams look at their OL. This patchwork OL has exceeded expectations by a wide margin. If he Rams are able to complete this season turnaround it will be in no small measure due to these young guys. As long as the OL stays on track this offense will continue to click. The defense is on the rise and could be a huge factor in getting to the playoffs. A win next week against the Seachickens would be a statement win. On the remaining schedule the Bills and the Niners will pose the biggest challenge IMO. This is why I've posted that I think that the Rams final regular season record could likely be 11-6. But I think 12-5 is entirely realistic. Next year teams aren't going to want to play the Rams after their bye week. by UtahRam 1 month 3 weeks ago Total posts: 387 Joined: Oct 18 2019 Utah Starter Give it up for the OL POST #13 /zn/ wrote:Rams have had a long line of good OL coaches (Hanifan, Boudreau, Kromer) but here’s the thing...You forgot Hudson Houck and John Matsko.
