I'll tell Cam in person what I think of him this upcoming season at the LA Coliseum.

You could see this coming a mile a way. Think back to Wednesday's press session with Cam. He came shuffling in, his body language was awful, He basically pouted through the whole session. Cam was basically the same Cam as 3 years ago when he would sulk on the sideline and pout in his post game interviews. Like they say, winning hides a lot of things.
As extremely talented he is, he still has a lot of maturing to do to conduct himself as a professional. He is the league MVP so he has to be held to a higher standard then most. This game humbled him. It will an interesting story line for next season to see how he has grown or not.

I saw a documentary on Cam recently... just stumbled upon it on Youtube (I think). I never really liked him until I saw the documentary. This kid appears to come from a solid family. I say he bounces back (and matures).

Not me. I was pleased they got it right. The ground can't assist in the catch and the receiver didn't have control when the ball hit the ground and then bobbled around.

EDIT: it also reinforces my pleasure of Mike Carrey being in the booth instead of on the field as an official.

Just before walking off, Newton appears to overhear Denver corner Chris Harris on the other side of a separating curtain discussing the defense's game plan of forcing the Panthers to throw the ball. Microphones in front of Newton also picked up Harris' comments. The quarterback looks toward Harris' direction before walking off:

Is there anything really damning in that clip though? So what if Denver's plan was to make Cam pass the ball? Why would that be reason for him to walk off the stage and cut his interview short?(not directed at you Stanger, just those offering it as a reason)

That's reality! Great point. Who else were the Broncos supposed to stop? Hmm the league MVP. It starts with the guy holding the ball.

This development kinda makes it worse.

btw, I just rewatched the last fumble. Newton saw the ball and more than hesitated. That play was the beginning of the end. And he would very likely gotten it being the super athlete he is.

Apparently, Every Super Bowl post game interview sessions are in a shared environment.

As far as Cam, He just basically told everybody that he knows he is a sore loser and to deal with it because he isn't changing. The Cam Newton brand will take a hit with that type of attitude. The Panther faithful will allows have his back but the nation at large will not.
