He had more wins than Dungy and also won a Super Bowl.

I don't get it.

He was the first African-American coach to win a Super Bowl. History.

Will Greene go in as a Ram or Steeler ? Either way congrat's to him and OP.
Warner will get his. As a consolation, I heard he won the Hi-Vee stock boy of the year award for the 17th straight year.

If so, just another example of racism. He should either be good enough on merit or not. His skin shouldn't have anything to do with it.

The NFL would never want to be compared to the Academy Awards by snubbing their African American talent.

My thoughts as well. Tom Flores was the first Hispanic coach to win a Super Bowl. He won two. Doug Williams was the first black quarterback to win a Super Bowl. He's not a HOFer.

I just never understood him for HOF on his merits alone.

Perhaps his TV gig helped him get a nod. He may very well be brighter that we know.
Not that Dungy isn't worthy, but the NFL best be careful to make earning that award special and difficult.

He built that TB defense that won a SB and was one of the best of all time and then won a SB in Indi.

Everyone loves him.

Maybe not the strongest resume but not hard to see how Dungy got in...

He transformed the Bucs into a playoff team and if it wasn't for Malcom Glazer he would have won a SB in Tampa.

Flores is a damn shame. Regardless of skin color/ethnicity that guy should be in the HOF.

The HOF is voted on by too many that feel they are bigger than who is being voted on. It isn't about who deserves to be in, it's who's behind the scenes greasing the skids. I still want Warner to get in but it won't be long before I don't even care. Their opinion means very little to me and the award/honor of getting in really doesn't mean anything either.
