I love this pick. I honestly thought he would go long before 19 but the run on QBs dropped him into the Ram's lap. I know a lot of people wanted Latu who is a damn good player, but the Rams got a guy that plays with an attitude. He's got AD type speed and quickness coming off the edge opposite Young.

Take a look at his highlights and you will see why I've liked this guy for a while.

Jared was originally projected to be a top 10 pick. Now we know who they were targeting when they tried to move up. When Latu went I knew the run was on for edges. I was relieved when Turner got picked ahead of Verse who I personally felt was a better fit.

Verse could become a monster on the outside. Paired with Young and Turner inside at 3T this could be a very formidable DL. QBs are not going to have all day anymore. A CB and ILB will transform this defense into a top unit.

If the rest of the draft keeps going this way this team will be primed to make a SB run this year.
