Now i know it's not the same (Rams won the division in 2021) and none of the things above are likely to happen, let alone all of them but it's been a crazy season.

And more important than any of this, gotta beat Detroit Sunday...

My neighbor is a Dallas fan who hates McCarthy and said, "if we lose it'll be because he did something stupid. And JJ will fire him quickly". LOL. He wants the Rams in the NFCCG because he's worried about SF, so I laughed and told him, "be careful what you wish for".

My perfect weekend?
Cleveland beats Houston.....if Stroud is gonna win OROY, I don't want him winning a playoff game too.
Whomever wins the Saturday late game doesn't matter to me but just watching the Dolphins in -30 wind chill will make me smile.
The Steelers beating Buffalo but that isn't going to happen....would love a Pittsburgh/Baltimore playoff game.
Green Bay beating Dallas.
The Rams beating Detroit
And Tampa beating Philly....for many reasons....we'd face Tampa & Baker if the Rams and GB win....local fans will be talking baseball by Wednesday....and Siriani could get fired.
:D

Tough spot for Miami though i think they did play well in a cold weather game in Buffalo recently.

Speaking of Buffalo, weather gonna be rough there too, could really help Pittsburgh...

I will be rooting for all 4 home teams to win b4 we play.

Seems when that happens the next road team wins. Us.

The law of averages? :D Home teams have gone 5-1 the last two years in the WC round. But the previous 4 years, just 6-12.

It used to be there were a lot of upsets WC weekend with the two top teams in each conference having a bye and then order would generally be restored the following week but with only 1 team getting a bye, probably about half as true as it used to be...

I’ve been watching these games for a very long time, it’s extremely rare for all the home teams to win. So I really like it when all the home teams win b4 we play.

I get it that it shouldn’t make any difference probability-wise, but damn if there’s some funky dynamic that has sway over the NFL.

I saw your logic and agreed with you. Then I also pointed to a shit-ton of home losers. Be the team that went 7-1 to finish out and I like our chances away or home. Against anybody. I want to see the Lions fans clapping for Stafford winning. If they don't want to clap, I understand that too. :lol2:
