Stroud started off the game tonight strong but has been pedestrian since. Puka breaks the record and it will be a hard decision. I’d love to see Puka’s 5th catch go 80!yards for a TD then right to the bench!!

Nacua definitely deserves it.

Well he just got his team, one that sucked out loud last season, into the playoffs. Pretty much seals the deal for him unless Puka has a monster game. And he won’t get the chance as MCV is gonna pull him after 5 receptions and 20 some odd yards.

But yes, Puka does deserve it.

Yeah they favor QBs because they touch the ball on every play. But they could give it to Puka because of the record. If he gets the record, it's a toss up, though all the experts say Stroud is the odds on favorite.

I agree. We will see soon enough.

Give me playoff wins. I’m sure the players feel the same.

Puka just needs four receptions, he has 101 and four would give him 105,
going over 104 is the record. and he needs 29yds to break the yardage record,
which is 1473 yds,
and Puka has 1445yds in which it would give him 1475 yds with 29 yds.

Then pull him after he breaks both records.

Thank you for correcting me. So I hope his 4th reception goes for 80 yards and a TD so he emphatically smashes the record and has a better shot against Stroud for the OROY.

Stroud is the main reason the Texans went from worst to first, and he did it in front of a national audience last night. Passer rating last night was 134.

I expect him to get ROY.

IMO, if you look at both bodies of work, either winning would be the right choice. So why not have co-OROYs? Brett Favre and Barry Sanders were voted co-MVPs in 1997 as were Steve McNair and Peyton Manning in 2003. Buddy Curry and Al Richardson were voted co-DROY in 1980. How easy is it to give Stroud the OROY and diss Puka or give Puka the OROY and diss Stroud? I gotta say 'difficult'.
