A few weeks ago I had this penciled as a loss. Things have changed. Browns are down to their 3rd or 4th string quarterback. Their best pass rusher and receiver are not 100 percent. Another week for Stafford's thumb to heal. And Kupp's ankle. Surprisingly we are favored. Browns still have a strong defense. Hopefully with more games together and better health our line is improving.

Rams will need to stick with the run despite Cleveland being much better at stopping it. Also win the freaking turnover battle. The Rams are going to have to win a grind it out game.

Rams also need to prove that they can beat a team with a winning record besides Seattle.

The Rams have only won 1 game outside the division, so, yeah.

But they will.

Their last 2 games (1-1) the Browns allowed 341 rushing yards on 65 attempts (5.3). 172 to Pittsburgh (6.6) and 169 to Denver (5.3).

Prior to his injury, KW had 97 rushing att for 456 yds (4.7) with 6 TDs. When he went down, Henderson was resigned. In 4 games, he had 46 att for 112 yds (2.4) but he did have 2 TDs (both 1 yard runs). Freeman busted out carrying the ball 50 times for 215 yards (4.3) with 1 TD. With Kyren back (143 yards on 16 att; 8.9 ypc), Freeman didn't suffer (13 for 77; 5.9). It could be we currently have a pretty good rushing duo. If we find a way to utilize both of them. We'll see.

BTW, on another note, even with Durant back, Kendricks was the only defender to play 100% of the defensive snaps. Did his benching wake him up and regain the confidence of the coaching staff?

Understood, but the Cards defense is bad in the pass and run. It is going to be tougher sledding no matter what. Yes Kyren is better then Hendu etc, but his two big games were against the Cards. It is going to take a precise Rams offense to score against the Browns, just glad it is at home and not the road.

Agree about Kendricks, he is playing much more focused.

Been browsing the Browns forums. Overall I get a sense they are not real confident but not pessimistic either. At least as far as the outcome. Seems like most think this game can go either way. They are pessimistic about their offense and whoever is quarterback though.

It looks like Walker played his way to 3rd string on Sunday.

Does Flacco scare anyone?

Certainly a better passer downfield then DTR/PJ at this point, but Flacco is a statue which will be nice for Rams pass rush
