We wait all year long for the season to come around. Free agency, the draft, OTAs, mini-camp, training camp, and finally the season rolls around. We run into a few rough outcomes, and some are hurrying to get off the bus and look around for the tank.

Everybody's in a hurry to bury Stafford and get the next loser.

Not me, brother. There's the whole second half of the season, and I'm going to hope for the best.

And the tank's not coming. The coaches, the players, they're not giving up. These are their jobs at stake. They're going to defend every artificial blade of turf. If we lose, we lose. It won't be because we tried to lose. We'll draft where we draft.

For me, the season's over when the season's over. Not the middle of November.

But, you know, that's just me. That's not everybody.

I never said we should tank and i never said i give up on the season. I simply asked a question i would have asked even if we won the SB this season. I have been a fan since 1966, been thru thick and then. I dont believe in tanking. Nobody said anything about giving up. Staffords time is running short. Time to bring a youngster in to learn behind him, common sense.

I understand your point. With so much talent. So much Quarterback talent coming out in the draft. This is the draft to do it.

You’ve got great Quarterback talent up and down the draft.

At some point. You’ve got to get a guy to develop. We won our Super Bowl. Staffords got some mileage on his tires.

Not to sugar coat this.but he was bought here to do one thing and that’s win us the super bowl. That’s what he did. He did his job.

Obviously Bennett is not the answer at Quarterback. We need to have one on our roster.

Niners Purdy Hawks Smith and Cardinals Murray.

I’m just saying.

I don’t think it’s giving up on the season but the rams probably aren’t getting to the nfcc game. They haven’t faired too well versus the top teams like the cowboys.
The college season is winding down so let’s have a good look at some of these guys during their seasons.

I don't follow college ball much either. I just read a few headlines here and there.

Nevertheless, I think that a team should draft a QB every year.

Should the Rams draft a QB that will start in 2024? I think that depends on if Stafford is willing to finish out his contract or not.

If Stafford is going to be the Rams starter next season, then I say the Rams should draft a project QB.

A long time ago, a team had a QB that was an All Star, Player of the Year, Passing leader, took his team to the Super Bowl, a beloved player. The very next spring his team drafted a QB in the 1st round ... and they drafted a QB in the 2nd round.

The 2nd round QB was a project ... the only thing he could do well was scramble, and scramble like a "Snake". As a project, it took him several years to be ready to play at the NFL level .... He eventually became a starter, SB winner, and is now enshrined in the Hall of Fame.

If by chance, Raheem Morris gets a Head Coaching job, which means two 3rd round comp picks, one this year, one next year. If that happened, I'd be willing to draft Jordan Travis of Florida State in round 3.

Been trying to tell y’all about Jayden Daniels this kid from LSU

500 yds total today 8touchdowns.

The dude is a beast. Baby Mahomes watch the highlight clip.

Shit at this point it’s a debate he gets drafted before Caleb probably not.

But I could care less what anybody says. If we are drafting at 8 we’re drafting him.

I think Stafford is near washed, kind of like Matt Ryan last year. Yet because of the contract, the Rams are tied to him for 2024. Yes, draft a good rookie and groom him to start in 2025. I like Drake Maye

He was carted off the field in an air cast last night. Who knows if he'll even be healthy by the time the draft comes?

A lot of college QBs look like studs....in college. There are no less than 11 or 12 being mentioned this year. Ram fans have suggested Caleb Williams, Drake Maye, JJ McCarthy, Bo Nix, Michael Penix, Jaxson Dart, Jordan Travis, Jaylen Daniels, Shedeur Sanders, Quinn Ewers and now Carson Beck. Many of them look like studs playing against Western Kentucky and East Jabumfuck St.. History says, only 2 or 3 of them will last more than a couple of seasons on an NFL roster (including someone not on that list) but that doesn't mean they'll be starters. It's the most difficult position to project.

It's quite possible we will draft 3 players in April, all higher than the slot we took Byron Young this past April. A lot has been made of their ability to find guys in the lower rounds like Ernest Jones, Kyren Williams, Ben Skowronek (highly underrated), this year Young, Turner and Puka. But there's a very small sample size to judge their ability to draft players in the higher rounds. This year they got 3 starters in the first 89 picks. There was only 1 guy taken that high in 2021 and 2022...Atwell. I like their chances to get 3 impact players with their first 3 picks and more in the lower rounds where they have found guys previously. QB? I wouldn't be averse to them taking one but it won't be the end of the world if they don't.
