Not sure what you mean by calling the number? It's just a countdown so tomorrow will be #31. If someone wants to post before I do, that's fine with me. The only thing I'd like is for the first entry each day to be a Rams player.

Also, it doesn't have to be the best player to ever wear a certain number, just the one that pops to mind. As the day goes on, I think it would be fun to debate who "owns" the numbers overall.

So far today, there are some heavyweights for sure. Koufax, Magic, Jim Brown...I don't know who'd be considered the most iconic representative. Being on the west coast, it's a tough call between Koufax and Magic but I think Magic had a lot more celebrity so he's probably associated with the number for more people.

Well, I'm almost glad someone beat me to today's number because I was really struggling to come up with one. Which sort of defeats the idea of posting the first guy that pops to mind. My first guess was Jason Sehorn but he wore #31 in NYG, he changed it as a Ram. Then there's Courtland Finnegan. But, since a Ram has been posted I can go with a guy that actually does pop to mind when I think of the number #31:
