Lewlan looks done. That looks like retirement.

Gonna have to get creative. I think we’re pretty strong at the linebacker spot.

Gonna need some edge rusher help. No to Clowney would like to get a guy like Bosa If he becomes available.

- I agree that Woods will be with someone else.
- With Lewan, I would try to sign him to a 1-year, vet minimum contract, with incentives in it.
- My gut says, our first pick is going to be an Edge Rusher. Maybe BJ Ojulari(LSU), Nolan Smith(Georgia), Zach Harrison(Ohio State), or Andre Davis(Army)

My gut says fist pick is stud TE. And we trade Higbee & a pick for a vet edge and then draft one in the 3rd (draft is pretty deep at edge/hybrid). Total guess on my part.

My thought process is that you can manufacture pressure with scheme. Yea edge talent is important. But if your O is crushing teams and making them play from behind, pressure is easier to create almost regardless of having a stud edge. That said, the Eagles are losing some good rushers. Other teams are too. So vets will be available. And there will be someone in the 3rd who fits the Rams’ scheme as well.

As of now, I have BJ Ojulari Edge LSU with our first pick, which is in round 2. Riley Moss CB Iowa with our 3rd round pick. We are on a cap situation, those guys you are trying to mention, are going to be real expensive. Again, after cutting Bobby Wagner, we are still $9 Million over the cap. I would like to trade, if possible, Van Jefferson. After the first few first 5, the WR class, in my mind is really weak. If everything does hold, next years CB/S class is going to be real good. We pick up Moss in round three, and he is 6'1" and super fast. By the way, I did a full mock where I drafted a TE, in the 6th round, named Brayden Willis Oklahoma. He is a sleeper, for me.

Taylor Lewan wrote:“I think the L.A. Rams are a team I’d be interested in,” he said on his “Bussin’ With The Boys” podcast.

He continued: “I think LA would be cool because (Neal) ElAttrache is their doctor. … I think Sean McVay is a (expletive) stud. And I think it’d be a lot of fun there, too.”

Re Lewan…
Knee(s) has to check out
Playing desire has to check out
Deal needs to be very affordable, prove it type and or/incentive laden.

He is too risky health wise to pay big money. Waaay to risky.

Jourdan agrees with the a TE on the first pick, a very deep draft at TE. I do think we need more edge not just scheme. We need it from the front four. I say min 3rd round and FA/Trade.

I’m with ya Action on edge. Just think there will be a better player at TE in Rd 2. Now, Snead could do some trading and get more picks in Rds 2 and 3. Then we could get both positions addressed by the end of the 3rd round.

Seems like a trade down is a very real possibility. OTOH, maybe they'll package some picks and trade for Von Miller again...
