RAMs @ AZ:

A nice win today, against a division opponent.

The Offense:
Staff had a nice game, but he did missed at least two passes by over throwing Tutu and Kupp. (But the Kupp play, it looks like Kupp ran the wrong route from the looks of Stafford) Plus on the miss TD to Kupp, Staff needed some more air on the ball, just hitting Kupps finger tips.)
But there was one play, he was being rushed, and he spinned around and made a nice pass to Kupp for a 1st down.

Plus we left 17 points on the table;
ARob, a drop pass on the goal line, (FG instead of a TD/4pts)
Kupp a Finger tip drop pass in the endzone. (FG instead of a TD/4pts)
Akers, A fumble at the 1 yd line. (missed a change for a TD/7pts)

Henderson & Akers had a nice game between the both of them,
except for that fumble on the 1yd line by Akers, that was his only mistake,
It looked like he was trying to stretch for the goal line, but he was hit and fumbled.

The OL played a good game, only giving up 1 sack, and 5 QB hits,
opening up some nice holes for our RB

I have to give Ben Skowronek a shout out.
Playing FB/WR and making some nice blocks, with 4/Rec for 66yds.

On the Defense,
They had a nice game plan.
Keeping Mighty mouse Murray in the pocket,
keeping him from extending the play.

AD got his 100th sack of his carreer.
His stats: 1 sack, 2/TFL, 1 QB hit, 6/comb tackles.

Here is that play I was talking about with Staff and his spin move.

And of course the ref is right there. He must be far sighted.

Mighta been nice to get the Red Challenge Flag out and ready to go....
and maybe get some optics advice from our Coaches up in the Press Box, no?

Isn't that the kind of thing that those guys upstairs are supposed to be looking for? :?

Clearly no Iraq War SniperDuty spotter vets on our Coaching Staff! :|

In real time on TV, I thought Skowronek was very damn close.....but I thought he had just barely tight roped it fine. Was surprised there was no challenge from Los Ramos.

McVay said he wanted to throw in the red flag,

But once the whistle is blown, it can't be challenge.

RAMs vs Panthers:

This was an ugly win against a bad team.

Our OL needs work in the middle.

A well needed bye week.

Hopefully Noteboom ankle is not that bad with two weeks to rest it.

Then C/Allen/knee, should be back, lets cross our fingers.

My goal for our OL starting after the bye week,

Boom, Evans, Allen, AJax, Hav

If Boom is not ready:

AJax, Evans, Allen, Oday, Hav

Players that should be ready to return after the bye:

95 Bobby Brown III DT/ off suspension

Off IR
44 Daniel Hardy OLB/ankle
2 Troy Hill CB/groin
12 Van Jefferson WR/knee

Still the key is the OL coming off injury as in Allen/knee and Boom/ankle.

We have 52 active, one open spot on the 53,

VJ should take that one spot, IMO

So that leaves three players coming off the IR/Supended list,

I would expect CB/Hill to be added to the 53,

and some one would get cut and place in the PS

And the other two, could be put on the 21 day

As for stats:
It looks good for both sides of the ball from the gamebook,
But this was against a bad team.
The OL in the middle, really looked bad,
Missing some blocks up the middle,
Too many times the runs got stuffed up the middle.

We need to trade for an experience guard that is above average. IMO
