I'm not gonna get worked up over a game one loss. I remember us questioning whether or not they were a playoff team in November. At least they have a few extra days to work things out. My biggest concern is the offensive line. 7 sacks. That is bad. And they picked up where they left off last year with the run blocking. But this time the pass protection was bad too. That is something they will have to monitor and make adjustments if it doesn't improve. Henderson had an 18 yard run. Take that away and he had 12 carries for 31 yards. Akers had 3 carries for zero yards. Are our running backs that bad? I don't think so. Its the run blocking. Nowhere for them to run. The defense was very disappointing too. But at some point I think they will get better. Akers had 3 carries for zero yards. Are our running backs that bad? I don't think so. Its the run blocking. Nowhere for them to run. The defense was very disappointing too. But at some point I think they will get better. I wish I could say the same about the offensive line. by Hacksaw 2 years 10 months ago Total posts: 24523 Joined: Apr 15 2015 AT THE BEACH Moderator Re: Bring on the overreaction POST #19 Dixon can boom it. He's not gonna convince anyone he's ready doing that. Its a little early to move on from a second round pick. But that is something they might have to consider. Draft mistakes happen. To everyone.
