POST #11 I don't think he would come here but also think he would be a perfect bridge to the future QB. We have/will have one of, if not the best running game in the NFL. That is a QB's best friend and Manning would take full advantage of it. Not to mention, our D is comparable in ability to Denver's and our special teams, probably better. We know the Rams will be a run first team. A guy like Manning will command respect for the pass game and open things up for Gurley. Imagine teams that stack the box to stop Gurley and Manning audibles to throw against that defense. POST #20 I would like a real starting NFL QB, and I think the Rams are ready to make a splash via a blockbuster trade. I worry about Manning's health and cap number. Would he take a team friendly number? I doubt it. It could cripple the franchise into the new stadium. They will want momentum going into Inglewood. I don't think Peyton lasts that long.
