I've listened to Demoff all over LA radio stations as he's made the media rounds over the past few days, and the most interesting piece of information I heard was that they're still investigating ways to have real grass turf in the new stadium. It could still wind up being artificial turf, but that was significant, and I hadn't heard that before. Would like real grass on that field like the AZ dome if they could figure out the logistics.

I'd imagine that pesky photosynthesis problem keeps thwarting their plans. Ventilation could possibly be a problem like in a green house too.

Maybe there could be a mechanism that wheels the turf in & out of the stadium like in AZ? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Problem with that is the field is so far below ground level. It looks like a real engineering problem.

The biggest issue with that is that the field level of the stadium is around 100 feet below the exterior grade and the retaining walls and subterranean waterproofing cant be breached with a gridiron sized hole.

EDIT. A+ OldSchool. haha

I don't understand why it takes so long for the league to allow uniform changes. Based on everything coming from the Rams, it's clear that they understand the desire for new uniforms that's out there. Even the majority of the St. Louis fans were, for at least a year now, already clamoring for new uniforms. It should be obvious to everyone that now is the right time to change them. Surely even the NFL must realize this. But maybe not. We need to take this to the league.

Money.

The Rams in LA will double dip. They'll sell these uniforms and other things with the current colors. Then in 2019 they'll introduce new colors and uniforms for the grand opening.

Yeah, I understand all that. But I've already seen from other posters that I'm not the only one with a real desire to buy new gear, combined with a refusal to buy anymore stuff that has Georgia's awful color scheme on it. If they want to sell the most merchandise possible, then change the unis back to the '99s now, then change them again in 2019 to implement some new identity/logo. I would buy stuff now, and again 3 years from now. Others would, too. Keeping these hideous uniforms is a big mistake.

It's gonna be interesting, doesn't seem like anyone wants to see them in their current uniforms anymore. But can the Rams capitalize?
