I really doubt it would be the Niners. The Cowboys also have a really big fanbase in L.A. but it's not the same, nowhere the acrimony...

I DO NOT want the underwhelming signage the Buccaneers have.

Dumb question: am I right in that there are no banners/retired number notation at SoFi?

Will we have to pull our banners and sinage down for Chargers home games? At the old Meadowlands, the Jets put up green curtains to cover the Giants history.

Correct. It is very neutral. Stan did make it for money year round as it is not a tax payer funded stadium. So it is very neutral.
Still, I really hope someone convinces him to do a ring of honor and titles and what not and just cover them up when not appropriate, like a renter game. But if not, what the heck will they do for the banner raising? Probably have a temp platform on the field that gets carted off? Hope not.

The Clippers cover all the Lakers banners at Crypto / Staples Center as well. The need a really big cover.

I predict it will be against the Buffalo Bills. The only way it's not the Bills, is if the Denver Broncos get Aaron Rodgers. That's it. The NFL doesn't really ever have divisional rivals go against each other, if one won the previous Super Bowl, week one. I don't see us playing Dallas, since they played Tampa last year, week one. The NFL does not do things with back to back, going against Super Bowl winners, week one in succession years. It's just going based on history.

It would be fun to open vs the Chargers.

It won't be the chargers. Super Bowl winner gets the home game and the Rams are the road team versus the chargers this coming season.

I agree with Jack… It's Buffalo with the possible exception of Denver - only if they get Rodgers.
