I thought the oline bounced back well tonight. Run blocking was good and Stafford had time.

If we're being honest Stafford was pretty bad tonight. Rarely did he put thr ball on the receivers tonight. Drops didn't help but those were off passes too.

Its possible that is this team's identity. A soft team who cannot handle physical play. We have a lot of stars but good individual players don't always make a good team.

Unfortunately this may be exactly who they are. Green Bay Wisconsin in late November? Ever hear the song "The Edmund Fitzgerald" talk about the gales of November? I know the real numbers don't yet support this but if GB waxes the Rams the team from L.A. are dead men walking the rest of the season.

After a breath and a half dozen margaritas, I can say that I am happy bring this upset going into the bye 7-3…shows how much higher the bar has been raised.

Alcohol can do wonders because this team is a disgrace that can only beat loser teams.

Agreed. He missed a lot of guys.

The 49ers are just a big stout team that punked us again. And we thought it was Saleh.

That said, we have added new pieces and have been admiring ourselves in the mirror. The team clearly lost focus.

Time to regroup and restructure. Throw in some new wrinkles and work in plays that fit our evolving personnel.

Green Bay is a tough place to have to find our new rhythm. if we go up there and take it to them I'll be very relieved. not holding my breath though.

I can't do anything but wait two weeks and hope to see a better effort at Green Bay. Its up to the Rams to regroup and hit the stretch run with a vengeance. The talent is there, but talent is not enough. The Rams need to control the narrative and force teams to play their game. Otherwise... "all in" will go from triumphant rallying cry to punch line.

Sounds like a plan!!!

Max has a good point. It seems like somebody (McVay? Stafford?) panics when we get down early. Perhaps the real panic is seeing us man handled.

But I disagree with the idea these losses were the same. Sure we were manhandled both times. But our defense got manhandled tonight as much, if not more than our offense. Can't tackle Deebo....haven't been able to tackle him.....ever. Couldn't stop the run. Last week they played much much better. Tennessee had under 200 yards IIRC.

The big problem is the offense turned the ball over too much. Last week we spotted them 14. This week we spotted them 14. If you tighten up when you get behind, you can't spot NFL teams 14. My bitch with Stafford is the dumb plays. The end zone pick last week, the pick 6 last week and the Arizona-game-throw-deep-to-Desean deep throw to OBJ tonight. In a 0-0 game (Arizona we led 3-0) you can't give away a possession like that. The pick 6 today was on Higbee. But it's giving up 14 and then expecting the D to stop the bleeding that's hurting us. In the first 18 minutes against Tennessee we had two turnovers, 1 a pick 6. 14-3 deficit. In the first 14 minutes tonight we had 2 turnovers, 1 a pick 6. 14-0 deficit.

It's simple really. If the Rams are truly a better team with Stafford, Miller and OBJ.....and McVay is as good of a coach as he's been the last 4 years.....and we're truly a playoff team.........we should win up in Green Bay. That is a game this team can't afford to lose. Like you say, win and there's relief. I'm not holding my breath either....2 weeks is too long to do that!!!! :D But I EXPECT a win under the current circumstances. And I like our chances, especially if the weather is cold. Why? Because in that weather, McVay will have to call run plays. :idea2: :idea2: :idea2:

Team is fraudulent and I’m beginning to lose patience with McVay. Big games this year he hasn’t gotten his team ready to play. He game plans against every team as if they’re all Houston Texans. He now simply won’t run the ball.

He has his team. We need big wins. Beating trash teams isn’t enough.

OL wasn’t the problem. Staff was. He had many options. And chose the wrong wines.
