I remember the Rams heading to play the Giants in 2017. They had traveled to Jacksonville (and won). Then they went to London (and won). Then they had a bye but had to travel back east to play the Giants, who were 1-6 and coming off their own bye. It was a "trap game".

Goff had a 14.1 yds/att average and 311 yards on 14 completions (22.2). Woods had 4 catches for 70 yards, 52 of them on 3rd and 33. Kupp had 3 for 54. Watkins had 1 for 67. Everett 1 for 44. Gurley had 2 for 45. The Giants trailed 48-10 with 18 minutes left in the game!! Can you imagine what Stafford could do?

But of course, it ain't the same Giants team.

The uniform colors wouldn't be an issue if games were still played in black and white like they were when I was a kid.

Interesting. If he does play, though, you have to wonder if he'll be pretty reluctant to run the ball too much, which takes away a big part of his game.

I am def not taking this team lightly, we only won last year on a big play to Kupp.

The Giants defense is legit, unless we get some turnovers I see it more like....

The Rams started strong last year against the Giants with a long TD drive, and looked to be driving to take a 2 score lead when Gerald Everett fumbled. From that point on, they went ultra-conservative (Goff was averaging under 5 yards/attempt before hitting Kupp for a 55 yard TD in the 4th quarter) and finished with only 240 yards of offense. I don't see that happening again.

On the other side, Daniel Jones was sacked 5 times and hit 9 times. A lot of that was due to his tendency to hold the ball way too long (he seems to be doing better this year in that category). He also was productive on the ground (7 carries, 45 yards) but, as noted before, I don't think he'll be looking to run too much if he plays given that he's coming off a concussion.

From a matchup standpoint, this should not be a close game. As always, though, the team needs to go out an execute.
