Arguing semantics over the Rams lease is a little like rearranging deck chairs.

Seems like not having relocation talk just postponed the blood letting.

Maybe they could disallow any talk of the draft until after the pick is announced?

I'm having a discussion with Coach O atm about that taboo word default. They can't seem to realize that the CVC and Georgia are the source of all their anger. Kroenke is just the one that drove home the final nail.

I dont want to get in to it with them over there. Just too many guys I like a lot who are down in the dumps.
Coach however is missing the point there and that being the Top Tier was a condition, a requirement even for the Rams moving there in the 1st place.

Bernie and Howard Balzer are like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson. Just creating hate among the troops for there own personal gain.

I feel for a lot of the guys over on ROD, they obviously loved the Rams, and they are upset about them leaving. Some are legitimately down in the dumps, some are looking for ways to get revenge, and a few are being more petty and lashing out towards LA fans, etc. It's a shame really, that it's happening and that we're losing some good friends and good fans.

...and that is their REAL purpose in life.

I have personal experience with JJ, and I cared way more about his constituency than he did.

The leaders over their dumped me, and others to the curb, for what reason... we don't even really know. We didn't cause their pain, StL leadership did. Leave us alone.

I am not going to preach to anyone. Just stating how I personally feel. My own opinion is, this is one issue on which everyone should just let everyone else speak their mind to their heart's content and not fight over the details. So this is me doing that---expressing how I feel, and I hope it is taken that way. Anyway I have several St. Louis friends who are hurting from this. I sympathize. I know many of them who express themselves on this issue with dignity and class. I am a nomad myself and live nowhere near the team and haven't for most of my life (though in the distant past I lived in both so.cal and st. louis). I always say for me, the Rams hometown is tv. But I will miss my friends who are good St. Louis posters who are dropping out...and they include some guys who have well-deserved reputations on multiple boards. Different Rams communities on the net are losing regular St. Louis posters. So the MOVE doesn't have much of an effect on me. Losing people in the communities? That does.

The Rams move to St. Louis coincided with the advent of social media and internet communities. As I result, like a lot of people, I got to know a lot of St. Louis fans. We're losing many of them. To me that is completely understandable, but sad anyway. I don't feel the way they do but I don't blame them for how THEY feel.

The Rams aside, may they always have fair winds and following seas.

To me it's a clearing of the decks. Many who are rejecting the Rams because they are moving back to their home of almost 50 years. None of us had any control in this, the problem was with differing opinions on what will(or should) happen. I was banned from a site that I had enjoyed for more than a decade, and I was furious last year when it happened because they did it without explanation. I was called a fool..an idiot..a.nd much worse because I felt the Rams would move home. It's a mixed crowd of St Louis fans, many silent /less vocal fans, then there are the aggressive, unfair online nazi's that want to silent dissent. IN the platform of forums, there is often no way to be sensitive to the good ones and strong toward the jerks..or at least I don't know how to do it. I am done with 101ESPN (station that I have listened to faithfully for 10+ years), Post Dispatch and Forum, and there is pain and loss involved.

It's just time to move on.
