Here's what Demoff said in 2013. Once the throw-backs are established, they have to be worn for 5 years. He seemed to think 2016 would be the first year we might have a change and that it would be both the regulars and the throw-backs. Regardless of what it is - I hope they applied for something and we are done with blueberry / gold forever.

Rams executive Kevin Demoff says a change in both the current uniform and throwback uniform for the team is possible, if not likely, in the not too distant future.

"I think at some time in the next five years, you’ll see a complete uniform — throwback and current uniform" — change, Demoff said. "I’d be surprised if we didn’t have it."

By league rules, once a team chooses a particular throwback style, it must wear the same uniform for at least five consecutive seasons. In the case of the ’99 throwbacks, the Rams started wearing them in 2009.

"This is the fifth year," Demoff said.

But a lot of lead time is required in order to change throwbacks, and the deadline has passed to change the throwbacks for 2014.

"So if we choose to wear throwbacks in ’14, we have to wear these current throwbacks as well; 2015 right now would be the first time we could change our throwback — and we have to make the decision by the end of the year."

And Demoff doesn’t see that happening. If that’s the case, then 2016 becomes the first year the team could change throwbacks.

Anybody see a chance we get those color burst banana suits? I'm on board with the LA blue and gold but just wondering if they go something newer.

Somewhere I heard the new uni's will have a blue and black or a yellow and black, something new.

Hey, Faulk, welcome...looking forward to those political threads...

I hear the RAMS are removing the horns off the helmet, or not.

Best uniform in history of the NFL is the LA RAMS blue/yellow/whites. (If they incorporate black as someone above mentioned I would be pizzed)

I really hope they go back to those and go one step further and go back to the white jerseys at home like they did in the Coliseum days.

I like the old white and blue but my favorite was always the 70's and 80's unis. Something brand new might be those bright yellow unis maybe with that old time Ram logo on the helmet. I mean the actual animal not just the horns, though the horns are a brand everybody recognizes.

First team to ever put a logo on the helmet. The Horns.

NEVER EVER change that.

Yes - can't change the horns. Even fans of other teams who hate the Rams still agree we have one of the best helmets in the NFL.

We do. Even if it looked better thicker - either way, horns will stay.

Hopefully Los Ramos will never sink to a black uniform for merchandising purposes. White w/Blue. Classic.
