Yup. Only way it makes sense is if we can keep Floyd, and some of the others.

Dumping Goffs contract was the key.

Obviously, I was predicting the trade for weeks, now I wonder how much Houston gets for Watson.

While I hate that we give up more 1st round picks, clearly Snead has done well lately without them. Another way of looking at it is if you get a proven 1st round talent in exchange for unproven 1st round draft picks, then its worth it.

What concerns me most is how many years does Stanford have left and what are the implications on being able to round out the team. I’m cautiously optimistic.

Hubris unbound…!!! On the part of the coach… On the part of the GM… On the part of the entire Rams organization…

It’s Super Bowl or bust now… And 'or bust' now means colossal loss of jobs… And a return to the dark years of Georgia Frontiere… Wow

This is what appears to be a sign of pure panic…

An old QB who has never won anything… Who is a meaningless stat sheet filler… Who is immobile… Who has no different a supporting offensive cast as when we started out…

An organization that did nothing to at least maintain or build up 16-Goff's value in advance of any kind of deal…

Don’t get me wrong: under the right conditions I’ve got no problem trading 16-Goff…

And to boot, we end up trading away 16-Goff for almost as much as we used to get him…
