Talk is since Iger is CEO of Disney who own ESPN,, the spin directive has been handed down.

I don't buy it but there are those who think ESK should have remained silent.

ESK gets reemed for being silent. Now he gets reemed for trying to keep the proposal silent. Then he gets reemed for what the proposal said once it goes public.

Talk about a witch hunt.

Yeah, literally like the first retort from Kroenke all year, at the end stage, which is the correct time to do it.

I feel the last year following this story has all been bullshit.

I think the part that might not be bullshit is Spanos' opposition to Kroenke and his ability to stop Kroenke.

That part used to seem like bullshit to me but now it seems real. I used to think it was a non-factor, that golf buddies Dean and Stan were just playing a game. I don't think that anymore.

But we'll see...

How does Spanos stop ESK from going rogue?

Yeah, I think they WERE golf buddies until Jan 4 2015. DS (no not dumb shit) has an opposing plan and surprisingly a number of backers. I really doubt that they would be against ESK if not for the Chargers concerns however trumped up they might be. ESK just needs to make DS happy somehow. I really hope that is what they are all doing in NY this week.
So far we have been right about everything else and the year delay to allow SD a shot with Inglewood still open makes a lot of sense. Perhaps ESK can half agree to be extorted and cover some of the $363M city contribution in exchange for something in SD non football related (hotel or something)? That could give DS the assurance he needs to proceed in his preferred location.
