We drafted a damn good RBWe lost Cooks. We drafted a damn good WRWe lost Fowler. We drafted a stud Edge rusherWe cut Robey-Coleman. We drafted a kid who is NFL ready, can play the slot or safetyWe grabbed a real good TE who if his drop problem is corrected could replace Everett next year. Did we do more than the teams in our division? We'll see but I'm liking what McVay and Les have done so far....and there's 4 more lottery tickets left! No team has ever won the Superbowl in April. Been following the horns since the Coliseum had a Roman playing there. McVay: 77-49, 2 Superbowls, 1 Lombardi............Doubt at your own peril 1 by ramsman34 5 years 2 months ago Total posts: 10040 Joined: Apr 16 2015 Back in LA baby! See how the teams actually play on the field. the Rams are probably back to averaging over 30 points/game. Not many teams can beat you when you hang 30+ on them. And, our D is actually improved overall with new vets and vets returning - some from injury - and growth of younger players. We will be able to consistently pressure the QB? We will see, but I think so. I think Obo and the new Edge guy will make up for the loss of Fowler and the sacks/pressure lost when Mathews left will be made up by remaining committee. JMHO.Oh and, the OL will be greatly improved based on growth and development, running more 12 personnel, and having a legit run game - which we just didn't have last season. 2 by jpatter132880 5 years 2 months ago Total posts: 29 Joined: Jan 20 2019 LA Coliseum Undrafted Free Agent Re: Fire Les POST #19 TOPIC AUTHOR Let's wait for the draft to be over, and then let's see the grades we give.I'm telling you the Goff and Gurley contracts, trades, and draft picks will hurt Snead by snackdaddy 5 years 2 months ago Total posts: 10051 Joined: May 30 2015 Merced California Hall of Fame Fire Les POST #20 Ramsdude liked this post jpatter132880 wrote:Let's wait for the draft to be over, and then let's see the grades we give.I'm telling you the Goff and Gurley contracts, trades, and draft picks will hurt SneadGrades are meaningless this time of year. You have to wait two or three years to get an idea if you had a good draft. And if you thought one draft could make this team great, you are likely mistaken. We had plenty of chances to make a great team when we had multiple first round picks years ago. Didn't happen. Relying on rookies to make you great in their first year is an exercise in futility. If the team is great this year, it was great before the draft. 1 Reply 2 / 12 1 2 12 Display: All posts1 day7 days2 weeks1 month3 months6 months1 year Sort by: AuthorPost timeSubject Sort by: AscendingDescending Jump to: Forum Rams/NFL Other Sports Rams Fans United Q&A's Board Business 114 posts Jul 17 2025
