The NFL moved it to the 30th. I don't know why they did that. The extra two days isn't going to make a difference. STL will have the same crummy plan.

Media, huh? More like blogger moron. Media is a term I use for real journalists, not some idiot with a computer. Oh wait, I guess Bernie is part of the "media." LOL, nm.

Teams have to submit their proposals to the NFL by December 30th.

Shane has become worse and worse. He has the same attitude several of the StL posters do now - they are 100% confident that the Rams are staying and so they feel comfortable posting more obnoxious now as they don't think they will be proven wrong.

I don't like to take shots at Rams fans no matter where they are from, but when you stack them side by side with the Oakland Raider and San Diego Charger Fanbase, the Rams base in St. Louis doesn't even hold a candle. In a horse race between the three yesterday, the St. Louis Rams Fans horse is still running...

I think its ironic that Shane uses the term "unprofessional".
He's only supporting the "St Louis Rams", not the Rams organization.
I get the homer side of things for local guys, but there is another side to this and as a reporter there needs to be some responsibilty to report it.
Its not unprofessional to provide info that the St Louis folks dont want to hear, even if its true.

This, along with we've seen from other forum "leaders", has been extremely disappointing. On the other hand, this older crew that's posting here is most impressive :)

I agree with you wholeheartedly.
Look at the attendance this season and the last game. I'd like to defend St Louis but it has been pretty embarassing to be a fan of a team that entertains empty seats at home games.

The fan turnout, the local political amateurism, the local media's immaturity, and the NFL's mishandling have been extremely embarrassing and downright disappointing. The ONLY adult throughout this entire process has been ESK.

Unprofessional, only shadowed by the chit show the NFL has put on this year. I guess we all stopped talking about the NE minutemen though.

It would be a real drag to be stuck in this purgatory.

There are compelling arguments on all sides of this. The possession angle is "the wall" we must hurdle. This of course is up to a body of people who are not like us and will be making the decision on our team and cities future. Color me skeptical.
This next 3 weeks are going to be emotional one way or the other. Buckle up.

We do have the wealthy owner with best and most actionable plan, which should help in the balance of things.
And of course Chris Meyers agrees... lol

Shane's behavior makes sense as it is the only play StL has had from day one. The only chance StL has had was and is to build a case strong enough the league, fight's for them. All their moves have been a narrative of we are a underdog we are the rebel force taking on the evil Emperor and the Galactic Empire. Their only shot has been populous opinion, hoping if enough voices got raised the NFL would have to acquiesce to sheer numbers of the populous voice. So anytime a voice says otherwise Shane and crew have to make sure they shout it down and move it from off of page one on blogs, sites and the on line world so it can appear there is such a loud and booming demand for the Rams in StL in hopes the NFL would feel some sort of populous pressure and acquiesce. This has been their only shot since day one as the CVC was inept and the Task Force has known it was working with only any spare change it could find by shaking the couch and chair cushions. So Shane's actions make sense as the only true actionable plan StL has had from day one was to shout every one down and make a enough noise they are heard and hope their voices work as a force multiplier and are mistaken for a overwhelming force.
