The only thing that has changed or will change is the owners are now making decisions.

I am not going to say these tweets aren't accurate, but how does Rams who have no major issues get screwed and Charaiders with major problems have the edge? That makes zero common sense.

^tfw

What about StL's methods , pending lawsuits and refusal to pay for bonds come close to a "attractive" deal??

This doesn't make sense unless not taken at face value. But if true, which I must consider, I still don't see the Charaiders getting approved either. Too early regarding the Carson site. So this tweet....
^tfw
....makes it too easy to just wait and their goes Kroenkes advantage. It also hurts StLoo. No more Nixon and time for the proper voting process which will not pass the people.

So after absorbing all of the daily barrage of info coming out, it is abundantly clear that the spin or the truth is leaning away from getting our team back, at least this year.

Now if their is a conspiracy to force ESK to give in to the Chargers, or the Spanos LA committee is carrying out the message we've heard about the popularity contest between ESK and Spanos, then Stan might be in a bad position. Other than legally.

If Carson get's the nod by 3/4 majority then I believe ESK must either be a real threat to the other owners, or he told them he was going to go anyway (which I doubt) and they are teaming up to stop him.
Conspiring committee members, Clark Hunt, Robert Kraft, John Mara, Bob McNair, Jerry Richardson and Art Rooney have had their buddy Richardson in their ear for quite a while now.
So perhaps the McNair tweets are just speaking for Richardson.

If their was collusion in this, and if the anti-trust laws would protect ESK where he would prevail, legal action might be his only choice...
He wouldn't be the most popular owner in the meetings, but apparently he already isn't..

Heavy is the head that wears the crown.

All I come back to is where is Kroenke in all this? Is he really sitting by quietly as he sees his vision of an LA stadium vaporize as a bunch of his fellow co-owners work against him both in LA and his home market? Does that sound like someone who is one of the most successful businessmen in America? I'm just waiting for his shoe to drop.

My windy post was boiling down to this what you said, If ESK has the law on his side, that might be his last card. His shoe. GF used it. It worked.
It sure appears he want's it bad enough, but we really don't know. But I agree, I don't see him sticking his neck out just to have it get chopped off.
Meanwhile, these are going to be a rough couple of weeks as this IS the discussion. BoA approve on Friday will add fuel to this anti Rams to LA fire. Then hopefully Senator Schaff and his fellow legislators will make a lot of noise.

Here's some comments that shows that McNair is clueless about SD and corrupt when it comes to this entire process.

I'll be honest, it's starting to seem more likely the Rams don't go to LA.

Maybe.

But if Stan has the votes to block Carson, then all of this noise is just that: Noise. That's really all this comes down to.

Owners are always going to justify their desired end-game however it suits them. It doesn't matter at all if they would actually take the STL proposal or not, because if they're pro-Carson, they'll use that to justify voting the Rams relocation bid down.

And on the other side, pro-Inglewood voters will justify their viewpoint however they want.

All the other talk about relocation guidelines are just noise. It's PR. They're simply not a huge factor in the final outcome. Whichever side gets 24 votes, will do so because the owners are voting that way out of their self-interests. If there's a deadlock, and neither side has the votes, it's either compromise time or no one goes. That's Stan's best chance to get to LA, IMO, because Spanos does seem to have backing & better personal relationships with more owners.

ESK is quiet because he knows he is in the power-position. These guys are screaming because that's all they have.

Call me not concerned in the slightest.
