Mr. Sparkle wrote:I was a slam dunk for my sales rep. I was on the waiting list like everyone else. Once I was able to do it, I called and asked what the best seats were in a certain price point. We went over them, and yes, many were sold out already, and that was that. I was a very easy sell. She probably knew not to bother asking as I was already all researched out and happy.
Funny story though, I went over the calculations with my wife on our limit on how much to spend. Once I finished and she was ringing me up it was double the cost. It took me a second and I was "oh snap! Thats right, I need TWO seats so I have to double the cost". I said the hell with it and did it anyway.

P.S. Charger fire sales STILL pisses me off.

Not sure I can buy the 40,000 number for the Rams: but the lack of denial is concerning.

I can see the Chargers see getting 25,000+ SSLs just off of brokers at the fire sale prices. They can make the money back on Packers, Broncos and other good traveling teams.

Really hard for anyone to make a reasonable argument one way or another as they have been very tight lipped about the whole thing.

However, the ONLY thing I have seen about the Rams advertising the new stadium seats was about a year ago when all pre sale tickets were done, they sent everyone a message saying if you want to buy more, they can get a friend near you for the same price. I kind of wished I had reached out to more friends as now that the stadium is getting closer, they were asking about the price etc... but they looked and there are no seats near me left. So they are tire kicking now.
I do hope there is a couple next to me that would be willing to swap a couple of games a year with me so I can stay at home for one game and bring my whole 4 person family to one game a year. Think that would be fair and reasonable.

This was exactly my experience, even down to the "why is it twice as much?" :lol2: :lol2:

During the NFL games yesterday, there were short commercials announcing 2020 season tickets available for the Rams. First time I noticed that.

Well they are certianly not sold out. Once they are, I am sure will let it be known and release the virtual seat venue. I'm sure they are making a final push but bet only the worst seats are left. I would be hesitant to spend a lot of money to lock me into a sub par seat.
If anyone is THAT curious, someone should simply go ahead and call and see what seats are left. Pretty easy. My guess is only the 500 section is left at this point or at least mostly.

They’ve had a kiosk at the Rams home games for a while trying to get people to sign up for more info on the new stadium. I don’t think it’s close to being sold out as the reps have told some of you.

Call rep. Ask for seats in the 100, 200, or 300 bowl. Rep says sorry, sold out.

All the GOOD seats are sold out. And yes, the 500 section in the middle of a row is not a good seat. I agree there are probably plenty of those left. At any rate, I have mine and I am happy with it. I don't think Stan is really worried. Neither am I.

I am one of the 40,000 who bought two great SSL's through the friends and family offering before seats were made available to the public. The purchase was made over a year ago. I am now contemplating relocation and considering selling my SSL and tickets. There is a provision in the agreement permitting resale. I contacted the Rams business office to ask how to facilitate a sale, and they said that SSL's can only be sold after the Rams play their first game. Seems ridiculous to me. Regardless, I plan to sell them by contract in advance of the first game and will conclude the transaction at the earliest possible time that the Rams organization will permit. Here are the details:

Rams SSL - SoFi Stadium - Row 1 - 3rd Level - Section 348 - 40 Yard Line - 2 Seats - Rams side of the Stadium.
There are no 1st-row seats available anywhere in the stadium. These tickets were acquired through Friends & Family of the Rams, prior to tickets going on-sale to the long waiting lists, or to the public.
No more standing to see the game (Unless you want to).
There are only 9 rows in this section.
Premier Seating - Gold Membership
Includes the right to purchase VIP parking.
Dedicated entry gate.
Access to exclusive semi-private concourse space and premier lounge.
Priority playoff access.
Presale opportunity to purchase tickets for other stadium events prior to reserved seat holders based on Promoter.
VIP access to team events.
SSL does not include the price of season tickets or parking. Ticket prices are $200 per ticket, per game, guaranteed for 3 years (excluding Playoff tickets).
The buyer shall pay transfer fees, if any, per the terms of the SSL Agreement.
Serious Inquiries Only.
$35,000

As we are all hunkering down to avoid COVID-19 and look forward to a football season.
What happens if the state bans gatherings of over 50 people until a vaccine is manufactured?

The Rams say we will get refunded for any games that we can't attend.
But what happens to those very expensive SSL's that we have paid for? Is that $$$ that is just thrown into the sky and burned? Or do we get 51 years vs the 50?
Just asking because it's not chump change that some people have paid?

After COVID-19 will people still want to gather with 70,000 of their closest friends and bump elbows leaving the stadium? Result - SSL value pluments.....

Hope it doesn't happen, but just asking what if?

I don't think the Rams have addressed this yet but i imagine they will at some point.

Rams Ticket Services and LASED are two different entities but i'm not sure that distinction matters very much. As far as we're concerned they're both the Rams...
