While I agree with you on 10-6 might not be enough to get into the dance this year, I'd say let's focus on one game at a time... Let's not overlook the "easier" opponents only to have them knock our teeth loose. :!2:

I didn't get to see the game live but I did watch a replay of it last night and IMO the Rams basically looked like they've been looking, they just played a lot worse opponent. The defense seemed better and Donald and Fowler were wreaking havoc but I don't know that that would be the case against better opponents.

Which is how I felt about the offense. I didn't really see a marked improvement, I just saw a lot of the same but with better results because the opponent was weaker. I'm not complaining. I'll take a win in any form at this point but to answer the OP, I don't feel a whole lot better about where they are right now.

The running game is still struggling, the interior pass pro still seemed problematic and Goff was still a bit inconsistent and again missed a wide open big play. Now, I do think Gurley(and Goff) were robbed of TD runs and I thought the rookie showed some good energy and burst and the receivers were as good as ever. But they still haven't got it all synced up and running smoothly.

Hopefully an international trip won't screw with the momentum they hopefully built by dominating the Falcons. McVay should be able to outcoach his protege' and take advantage of having such detailed knowledge of what the Bengals are trying to do. Rams are more talented and "should" win next week but I agree with others who say that taking any game for granted at this point is not an option.

I think that the Rams "overlooked" Tampa Bay and got their asses kicked for it. They may lose more games this season, but I'm fairly certain it wont be due to "overlooking" anyone again.

Chicago, Baltimore, Seattle

Baltimore and Seattle I would probably put more in the "C" category as running QB's give the Rams so much trouble. Maybe with Ramsey things will be different but my instinct is that those will both be tough games for them to win.

In the past 3 games before yesterday, I felt like when Goff missed a wide open big play, it was because he rushed his throw. Yesterday, it felt a lot more like Goff threw to his spot, but the receivers weren't on the same page. Big difference.

If we're talking about the play to Everett, he was being held early in the route which could've messed up the timing but still would like to see us hitting on some deep stuff, can only help open up everything else, plus you get a lot of yards in the process...

I don’t think AZ is a gimmie win at all.

They have some decent energy and will be ready for Rams in December.

10-6 puts you on the bubble, 11-5 should be enough, though no guarantee.

I'm not discounting the division title as yet. Niners have 10 games to play...lots of drama unfolds as the season wears on with injuries, bad mojo, weird bounces of the ball, losing to massive underdogs...'S' happens every year.

RAMS have their future still in their hands. Currently, they don't look that wonderful, but lots of talent in the players and coaches to make things right. It will be interesting to see how they handle the pressure.
