Max, those are all great points for why Inglewood makes the most sense and why Stan K.'s money/power in LA makes a lot more sense than having two clueless owners like Spanos and Davis together in the 2nd biggest market in the U.S.

As an aside, I tweeted that Carson won't be built and the Raiders will remain in Oakland. Roggin liked my tweet.

Take it for what it's worth.

Shouldn't there be repercussions for the actions of Jerry Richardson, who as the chairman of the committee on LA, has clearly colluded with Spanos cheating both SK and the league owners of a legitimate relocation process? Considering the dollars at stake, i think SK has a cause to sue.

You're right. It's definitely a conflict of interest. It's hard to believe Iger wasn't smart enough to lie or to get the story straight with Spanos, Davis, and Richardson before telling the media that Richardson recruited him to be part of the Carson project.

Alderwoman alleges ‘corruption,’ bribes following stadium vote

St. Louis Alderwoman Megan Ellyia Green on Thursday took to Twitter to allege “corruption” at City Hall following a key committee vote that advanced a stadium financing package to the full Board of Aldermen.

Green also wrote that she “had loved ones offered bribes for my support.”

Green did not vote Thursday, but could vote when the financing package, worth more than $300 million, goes to the full board.

“I’m not alone,” she wrote. “Campaign finance reports will be interesting…”

Alderwoman Lyda Krewson responded in a message that if Green believes that, she should contact the U.S. Attorney’s Office. “If not,” Krewson wrote, “(please) don’t make these serious accusations.”

Green said in another tweet, “already did.”

Green said in a text message Thursday evening that she could not comment further. "It's an open investigation," she said.

Spokeswomen for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Missouri and the FBI did not immediately respond to a messages seeking comment.
Krewson confirmed the Twitter exchange in an interview.

“We all have to be responsible when we take to social media,” Krewson said.

The board could perfect Board Bill 219 on Friday. A special session could be required to pass it before a Dec. 30 National Football League deadline.

Predictably after the sham vote today, momentum shifted. Now Vinny B is tweeting about his meeting with Bob Iger.

ABC7 ran a sports piece with Iger at 6:pm which opened with Charger and Raider helmets with a "momentum" message. His demeanor was benign.

Perhaps Roggin's program director passed down a memo.

I can speak from personal experience when I say that Megan's life is now in jeopardy.
