Didn't the Rams play in London a few years ago? Maybe they were the visiting team then.

Another thing that has probably pissed off Stan is the CVC scheduled events at the ED in December, forcing the league to schedule the last two games of the regular season for the Rams on the road. They've done that the last couple years.

The Rams were the home team in London in 2012 v the Pats as the away team.

They had signed up to be the home team for 2012, 2013, 2014 - but, the CVC made it an issue and so they pulled out of 2013 and 2014.

So it goes against the Rams current lease to play a home game away from the dome. But they haven't entered into a lease for 2016 yet? When is that supposed to be? I read somewhere Jan. 28. The NFL is the one who announced the London home game for the Rams. They had to know it would violate the Rams year to year lease with the CVC. Is this a start of the "end game" for LA? The CVC doesn't sound very happy about the Rams playing in London.

Ya talk about forcing a mans hand. Is their anyone in St. Louey who possess the most basic of wisdom. Rams have until Jan 28th to renew their year to year lease. Peacock and the task force say if ya sign with us we will let ya go to London, CVC says if ya lease with us ya can't go. NFL set up the London game. Way to go make all of Stan's arguments for him how St. Louey just does not work for him as a owner. Peacock and the CVC's London game blackmail is gonna backfire on them and at the least if he does end up going rogue they just bought him sympathy from fellow owners who will lesson any punitive damages on him. Way to go St. Louey give ya enough rope and ya will hang yourself they should borrow a page from silent Stan and invoke their 5th amendment right and just shut the hell up. It is better for a man to think ya fool than open your mouth and prove him right.

I am not sure what kind of promise Peacock was made following a owners meeting while giving Grubman a handy in the back stall. However is just nuts for them to act like they have the high ground and make demands or in this case blackmail threats. Is it coincidence that the Arch looks like the backside view of a person's legs bent over at the waist. Just pure craziness to go poking a hornets nest especially when your broke ass had to borrow the very stick to do it with. Just is nuts to make a issue of something that can so run counter your very objective. Damn are they so convinced sticking out a handful of poison ivy is the same as offering a olive branch?

The Rams were allowed to play one game in 2012 because of concessions they gave to cvc, including paying 25 K ore 1/10th of their annual lease to cvc. Theoretically, they could do that next year as well if they don't relocate.

It would however make life easier for the Coliseum by only needing 7 dates and is especially easier if another team in addition to the Rams needs to play their home games there in 2016.

The St. Louis NFL stadium task force issued the following statement following the league announcement:

"The Rams playing a home game in London next season is irrelevant if the team leaves St. Louis. However we are confident the Rams will continue to call St. Louis their home. Our work remains focused on the Rams playing for 30 years in a new riverfront stadium in downtown St. Louis and not whether they play one home game a year from now in London.

"If the Rams proceed with us on the north riverfront stadium and redevelopment project, we're certain accommodations can be made for the Rams to play one game in London next season."

And the task force has a voice how?
