Didn't we hear rumors a while back about him saying he was interested in returning to football ? Maybe he knew what was up.

Hoping the 2 Gruden's aren't McVay's Kryptonite..

Maybe Lombardi is confused and heard Gruden but it's the one from Washington. In 19 years of ownership, Snyder hasn't given a head more than 3 years unless he's won a SB (and they both got 4 years). Then again, maybe Snyder has Jay confused with Jon.

i'm not convinced tampa is that talented even tho they've been the darlings of a lot of talking heads the last couple of years, the team many picked to do good things, not sure if winston is the real deal... and altho evans is talented, he's had a below average catch rate every year he's been in the league, he just sees a shatload of targets so his numbers always look good, i mean try putting up bad numbers when you see 170+ targets in a season...

Personally, I think Winston is way overrated. I might goes as far as to say he kind of sucks. Throws a lot of picks at really bad times. Glad we don't have him.

Winston is a lot like Bradford. Just when you think he is going to drive the team for the winning touchdown, he throws a pick at the 15 yard line and the game is over.

Holy smokes, you aint kidding. I looked up his numbers after reading this, thinking that he averaged 1200 yards per season and that was good. With 511 targets in 52 career starts, that's basically 10 targets per game average. That is insane.
To put in perspective, during the GSOT glory days, Issac Bruce highest target # was 135 yet averaged 1200 yards just the same

Every year we have to hear that Gruden is going to come back. Was it not last year he said he would consider it, and then got angry at reporters who asked him questions about returning? Now it's Lombardi's turn to throw Gruden's name out. Don't get me wrong. I'd love the see what he could do. This is the same story every year. There is no Tooth Fairy.
