Jared 'Cookie Monster' Cook just keeps dropping ball like crumbs all over the field. He is fast as a slow WR but his blocking blows and stick-um was outlawed in the NFL so I don't know if there is a sucker out there who needs a fast TE that badly. Methinks he stick around despite ours and teams preferences.
Of course we are the NE Hate-riots farm team, and you can bet he'd thrive in their system opposite Gronk. Trade us Amendola back.

Why hasn't a deal been done yet? I'd be happy if he never dawned a Rams uniform again.

I may be the biggest Jared Cook fan around, but I'd trade him in a second.
They never used him in the role they brought him here for

And the offense won't be the same now with Gurley. He'd be good in Philly with their aerial circus. SD?

I agree that this coaching staff doesn't seem adept as maximizing players strengths, but please do tell .... what can you do with a fast TE who can't block and can't catch?

He can block, showed that last year. I agree this year he's been a bit of a slouch but he can do it. Real question is why do you want him to? He ws brought here to be our guy in the seam, take the snaps that Amendola was getting. Then after Sam crapped the bed in losses to San Fran and Dallas, they changed his role.
As for his drops, totally over rated. Yes hes had his share, but Kendricks drop rate is even worse this year.
i'm not a fan of players after they leave, so I wont be the guy to say I'd love to see him play elsewhere to show what he's got.
But if we could get a drft pick for him at this stage? I'd be all over it. And then Id snag Alex Bayer off of San Diego PS

If he was brought here to replace Amendola's than it's clear this has not been a successful experiment.

I also agree that Kendricks has had problems holding onto the ball as well. So I'd be fine with dismissing both of these players.
