I love how Africa has been telling me the term sheet obligates and commits the city and state to build new stadium and now he switches to "it's completely non-binding" without batting an eye...

I chalk it all up to self admission of impending doom and loss and can be really exampled in a divorce. For folks to find fault in their own logic in the face of loss only makes one feel helpless. So when faced with the reality of the despairing loss and the negative emotions it elicits we often find it emotionally soothing to use duplicitous talk, which helps us build up our own confidence and hope. Which as we know in the end all we really did was prolong dealing with the inevitable.

Or as my friend and the wise sage Hacksaw pointedly said to these folks..........Ya are just in denial.

Reading through that thread I'm glad I can't post over there(never was able to get an admin to validate my account I signed up but never got a confirmation email twice). I'd get in so much trouble the responses there are naive and just poorly thought out.

The PD is way worse. Why do these certain guys over there keep saying that Congress will stop the Rams from moving because of the NFL bylaws. Are these guys really in that much denial or am I missing something? I mean NFL by-laws (guidelines) aren't federal laws. Just crazy!!!
Methinks they are losing it.
