Does that instill any confidence when it comes to QB's? He is at the point now where he is specifically inserting Kerry Collins or Kerry Collins types(Foles). If he goes out and finds the next Steve McNair, then fine. But this guy is not about offense and even if he was, couldn't fix it IMO.Thats a point thats hard to argue. Fisher does not put as much stock in offense as other coaches to. Oh sure, he'd love to go out an score 30 every game. But he's not going to try and build a team for that. He wants old school, smash mouth, in your face on both sides of the ball. He's fine with a 13-10 win. As long as his team wins the trenches. That kind of team is ok. Seattle won with an elite defense and mediocre offense. SF went to 3 straight NFC title games and a superbowl with that formula. Problem is, we don't have a mediocre offense. We have a bad offense. And right now, we really don't know if we're going to improve to mediocre. We can be blind homers and say we're gonna get there. But there is nothing to base that on. by max 9 years 8 months ago Total posts: 5714 Joined: Jun 01 2015 Sarasota, FL Hall of Fame Re: Foles picks up the pieces after career-worst game POST #22 snackdaddy wrote:moklerman wrote:The problem is, look at what Fisher's done over the years. Foles is less of an injury risk than Bradford and better than our backups in 2014.2. Gurley. He does look special so far.3. Tavon stepping up. Finally looks like he knows what he's doing out there.4. Schotty is gone. Almost anyone would be an improvement.5. A real problem so far. Probably worse than last years OL. At least so far. ~ max ~“The consciousness of good intentions disdains ambiguity.” - Alexander Hamilton, The Federalist Papers Reply 3 / 3 1 3 Display: All posts1 day7 days2 weeks1 month3 months6 months1 year Sort by: AuthorPost timeSubject Sort by: AscendingDescending Jump to: Forum Rams/NFL Other Sports Rams Fans United Q&A's Board Business 22 posts Jul 02 2025
