They have the right colors too according to the CofC stadium renderings...I'd rather the Ram alone which seems like the wise choice from a market saturation standpoint. In the end, Stan builds it, They try in SD for another year or 2 (temp stadium) in SD and if all fails then a silent predetermined sweetheart deal happens in Inglewood. Esk and (and possibly later Spanos) helps the Raiders cause to keep them nearer Alcatraz & San Quentin where the belong. GO RAMS !!! GO DODGERS !!! GO LAKERS !!!THE GREATEST SHOW ON TURF,, WAS by bluecoconuts 9 years 8 months ago Total posts: 273 Joined: Aug 29 2015 LA Coliseum Rookie Re: NFL owner vote on relocation to L.A. expected in January POST #12 Elvis wrote:So assuming any/all of this is right:The owners like Dean, wanna do right by him.The owners want Dean and Stan to sit down and work it out.Dean says no.Owners stop liking Dean? That would be my guess. If Kroenke really does offer partnership if Spanos buys in, or essentially free rent if he's willing to be a tenant, and Spanos refuses, I think they'd go "Well then tough shit buddy, now it's on you."If Kroenke doesn't do those things and makes it hard, then they'll probably tell him tough shit instead.Isray, who I assumed was firmly in Spanos' corner essentially said friendships can't come before business decisions, and to me that indicates that the NFL wont pick Spanos just because they like him more.. I think that was a message. by BuiltRamTough 9 years 8 months ago Total posts: 5357 Joined: May 15 2015 Los Angeles Hall of Fame Re: NFL owner vote on relocation to L.A. expected in January POST #13 Elvis wrote:So assuming any/all of this is right:The owners like Dean, wanna do right by him.The owners want Dean and Stan to sit down and work it out.Dean says no.Owners stop liking Dean?It depends. If Stan offers a deal to Dean and Dean is stubborn and doesn't like the offer but the owners think it's a fair deal then we have a problem. The picture is clear. Everyone likes Stans plan but want to help out Dean. Thus they say no one has enough votes to pass. Work it out. This is great beacuse the Inglewood plan is preferred. It's simple, if they work it out then that obviously means the Rams are home. I think they're starting to indicate to Spanos he better swallow a little pride and work with Kroenke... Which to me indicates that Kroenke is indeed offering a sweet deal and they don't feel the need to pressure him anymore. by Indrid Cold 9 years 8 months ago Total posts: 972 Joined: Sep 24 2015 Redington Beach, FL Veteran Re: NFL owner vote on relocation to L.A. expected in January POST #15 I think there's some simple logic to be applied here.1. Nothing is going to happen in season. No one wants a repeat of Cleveland where fans were tearing out rows of bleacher seats and tossing them on the field. Voting on something in January means applications well before that. That going to happen in season?2. There's never going to be a vote against competing proposals. Take it to the bank; will never come to that. Maybe a charade vote on the preferred solution, but I don't think Carson will ever get pitted against Inglewood in a vote involving the full league membership.3. Based on No.2, that means everything gets worked out before a "vote" on pre-ordained solution gets presented to the full ownership group. I do think that means this whole thing could be slow rolled until they come up with an pre-ordained solution can be decided on and voted on.
