So far upside down. Perhaps this will be the season of change. Lesser teams supplanting the usual suspects. And a certain team changing hometowns. All in this season of change...........

but is that really the case? 7 of the 9 undefeated (2-0) teams made the postseason last season while only 5 of the 23 teams that are 1-1 (or worse) made it the postseason last year...

Yeah, the really remarkable part is the 0-2 teams.

The average Vegas win totals for those 9 teams has got to be pretty high...

no doubt, i count about 4 shockers, the hags, colts, ravens and eagles... not really surprised by the the lions (all defense last year), the saints (a horrific defense last year, all offense), the giants, bears or texans.... the eagles were clearly going to go as far as chip's offensive gambles took them, but so far his gambles aren't lookin' too great, albeit their d seems to be improved over their 25th ranking in offensive points allowed last season.

so are the 2-0 jets for real behind fitz? their defense has certainly started with a vengeance, good luck sammy & co. this weekend, are the falcons for real, lousy defense last season, 26th in offensive points allowed, but 13th in offensive scoring. to tell ya the truth, i'm most surprised by arizona, everyone loved them in the nfc west but i thought their d would finally show signs of losing so many key players, but they seem to be tough as usual, and their offense has always been middle of the pack in offensive scoring with palmer under center, but that offense has gotten off to a great start.

The Giants could and really should be 3-0 instead of 1-2 where the Jets are 2-0 but I could see them take a freefall like a Houston from a couple of years ago. Well, I just hope the free fall is postponed by one more week....

Anyone know what the chances of making the playoffs are for 0-3 teams?

the thing about 0-3 teams is they're usually bad, i.e. they don't miss the postseason because they started 0-3, they miss it because they just weren't very good... dating back to 2000, 76 teams have started the season 0-3, of which only 20 posted winning records in their remaining 13 games - moreover, only 8 of these 76 teams won 8 or more of their remaining 13 games.

Rams started 0-5 one year with KW I think.
I guess the point is that if Seattle starts 0-3, are they a bad team? I think at some point, after an 0-3 start they have to mail it in. Seattle gets the pass, SB hangover, but what about a Philly team? 0-3 and it could lead to chaos
