No suprize, no brainer. The Rams went from glitz and glam to podunk and squalor playing in that dark dingy dome with 49er colored seats. Not saying the infield at Anaheim was a thing of beauty but the warm sunny SoCal afternoons beat the heck out of the mausoleum they are playing in now.

If the unthinkable happens and we aren't awarded our team back, at least this riverfront gym won't have a lid on it.

Right, they didnt even have a team when they built it. That's why the top tier clause was relevant for THAT STADIUM. The team that moved in had to have the right to get their stamp on it.
Remember how bad the turf was when it was brand new? I remember a report at some point in the late 90's that the Rams had one of the worst fields in the sport, being compared to Philly and Indy (Both stadiums replaced)

I mean, how bad is it to watch the home team with its blue and gold colors play in front of primarily RED seats? Especially considering 2 of the division rivals wore red?
I'll never forgive the Rams PR group for that 49ers debacle with the "White Out". Rams in all white against a backdrop of 75% full stadium of white shirts, red seats and the Niners in their home unis.
