My expectations will be tempered with reality and I will be more in full on analysis mode watching him as I cheer him on. Reality is this is game one for him at a whole new speed while teams he will be playing against have had over half a season to adapt to the quirks and speed of this season and opposing NFL teams.

My only hope is he finds a way to win as that is the only way he can 100% guarantee he will start again next week, absent of course Stan did not get involved and that is why we are seeing Goff. I just know the Fish decision process all to well after almost 5 full years of it. An him losing with multiple turnovers can make Fish sit him way faster than he promoted him.

Reality is also for some weeks now the sports media world has been asking why doesn't Fish start Goff. So the sports media is aware of his start now and all he does will be seen under the microscope and will be printed on Monday.

So he in my opinion has some things he needs to overcome cause he is gonna be a headline story the day after whether he wants to or not. I would like to say no worries is just another day at the office for him, but fact is this is the first time we will be seeing him play live action full speed.

So my best wishes and cheers will be his way all day long and I hope every time he messes up he can Taylor Swift it and shake it off. So here is to a new era in Rams football and good luck kid we will be cheering for ya come this Sunday.

I don't think Fish pulls him regardless of output. I believe I either heard or read that Fisher said that Goff is the starter for the next 7 games.

WOW what a game that was... Not really sure either team deserved to win that one. I feel like you ram fans have something to be happy about ..Goff showed some poise out there. Protect him and give him some games and the rams might have their guy of the future. Rams played great D..Miami really had a hard time getting going with 3 starting linemen out. Glad they could flip the switch at the end. Great Defensive game. See you guys next time.
