Morning All,

I'm visiting LA for work (Aircraft industry not Actor or anything like that).

Its been a dream of mine to see a NFL game live in the US. I have bought tickets for the panthers and i'm rather excited for the game, my only disappointment is that Tre Mason is no longer in the squad, as a new father a few years ago in the UK I was up late at night watching his amazing senior year for Auburn.

However I have been told a lot about Tail Gate parties and Fan fest. However I know nothing about what to do or where to go? Can I turn up at a tail gate party or do I need an invite? What is in the Fan fest is it worth it for a 40 year old bloke? or should I just get the beers in at the Corna beach bar?

Could any fan's help me with plans for the day? what is the best thing to do? I plan to get the train up from Fullerton in the morning.

Cheers

Mike;
-1st make sure the trains are running.
-If you plan on bringing anything with you, it must be in a clear plastic bag no larger than 12"x 6"x 12". Check Coliseum / Rams / NFL protocol for what you can and cannot bring in.
-Once you get to Union station you either taxi, Uber or Metro to the Coliseum.
-After a bit of a walk you will be on the old (and I mean old) stadiums grounds.
-The most tailgates are in lot 6. Look for Blue or Yellow 'Rams Fans United' flags flying here and there to find our members. I would reach out or wait for invite first,, but that's me. We have many very friendly members.
- Don't expect too much at the Corona Beach bar other than expensive Coronas and no beach.
-Cant say about fan fest, never went, but hopefully someone will chime in.
-Metro or Uber back to Union.

Thank you for the advice, I'm really looking forward to the game. Maybe we will bump into each other for a beer.

It would be great to see Jared start, if he is good enough he is old enough to start is my view and the panthers with Norman gone look weak.

From sports over in Europe, no team would ever sign a superstar youngster and not play him.

Welcome aboard Casper.

There should be several RFU flags flying at various tailgating locations. (Some in lot 6 south of the stadium, one RV on the road north of the science center just north of the stadium and possibly one in the grass lot to the West).

So keep your eyes peeled and say hi if you get a chance...
