The building is also pretty bland, certainly compared to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, for example. The original building has a kind of cool kitsch vibe to it, kind of Coneheads meets Close Encounters, or maybe some weird church. From the new front, with the add on, doesn't look like anything special. They had the Arm of Bern Brosteck, Leg of Jerome Bettis and hand of Marshall Faulk. When you first walk into the Hall of Busts, naturally the first thing you think of is Futurama. Then you wonder where Jason Smith is until you realize it's not that kind of bust. The other thing i realized is i pretty much hate everyone in the hall of fame: Tarkington, Staubach, Bradshwaw, Montana, screw those guys... I have always found Ohio as one of our more unimpressive states so anywhere they placed the Hall of Fame there in my opinion would be unimpressive.....LOL Ramslife on RRF was always making me laugh as he lived in some small town in Ohio and never had a good word to say about his town or the state...........LOL by TSFH Fan 9 years 4 months ago Total posts: 699 Joined: Jun 24 2015 The OC Veteran Re: Elvis Goes to Canton - Report POST #3 Thanks for posting and for the report, despite being underwhelmed, I hope you enjoyed it!A few months back when I first heard about talk of a Western Wing of the Hall of Fame for LA, I didn't get it. Now, based on the pics and your guys' comments, I think I get it. Thanks, guys.Rather than a "weird church" the HOF should be in a Cathedral, like in Inglewood, and not near some toxic dump like Fake Carson Stadium. I don't share the idea of the supposed importance of having it in the birthplace of football. New York, Chicago, LA...someplace like that should be where it's exhibited.
