Spruce def earned some pt with the 1's. Was fun to watch. Got to like what he and Hignee brought. Will see if it translates to the next game.
On Goff, just goes to show he needs playing time not bench time to get him going

And Dallas D is not very good and missing several key players. Was pretty disheartening to see Keenum go 3 and out on 2 of his 3 series

Nice to see Higbee at TE. He could be a matchup problem for many teams.

Spruce stood out among WR. Many of the other WRs did not catch the ball that well.

Keep in mind that the pokes have a formidable O-line and our D-line went vanilla against their ones.
AO looked lost. That should improve.

That opening KO return for TD was sooooo typical Hollywood Rams drama. The first play after 22 years before 90K people is a 101 yd return for TD. I just went OMG the Rams are really back.

Sure, for now. He's the only WR that can actually make something happen apparently. You know, get open, catch. But, I'm sooooooooooo tired of being forced to get excited about guys like this instead of the guys who are actually supposed to be on the field on Sundays. Spruce is a good underdog but I think the Rams need a lot more at WR than Proehl-lite.

Sadly I agree with you. Rams again look woefully thin at WR. Maybe they can get help when other teams cut to 53.

I would go for production over potential between Spruce and Thomas. Thomas certainly didn't show enough on KO to make any case.
I just don't see 7.

Britt, Quick, Tavon, Cooper,

I'm past ready for the Quick experiment to end. The guy just doesn't get open and has questionable hands. If the Rams were deep at WR or could hide him on the roster, fine. They've got a hard-on for him and seem to be convinced he'll be another small school miracle. But, this team can't absorb that type of project. ESPECIALLY as a potential starter.

Tavon has to get better too. He needs to be on the field and as a viable receiver. It's ridiculous that he can't actually function as a WR at this point. Again, if the Rams were solid up and down the roster and wanted a Dante Hall gimmick player, fine. But this guy was expensive to draft and is NEEDED as a regular contributor on offense. The occasional end around hand off to him isn't what the Rams need at this point.

Britt is JAG. 600 yards and 3 TD's is what other teams cut from their roster.

The WR situation continues to look bleak to me. Cooper has a lot to prove and Marquez apparently doesn't show enough in practice, which surprises me since he looked so good in his limited opportunities last year. But, like Spruce, he's probably not a true NFL starter at 1/2 WR, he just looks good in comparison to this very weak group.
