They would be on title but would owe a shitload. Like buying a house,, you own it but the bank owns you.

At least San Diego appears to be right about as far along as stlouis so that will make it a difficult acceptance or denial of one and not the other..

I know the Rams have been in the Midwest for 20 years which is a whole hell of a long time but the Carson decision would put three teams in foreign towns and all playin their second choices. That just can't be what the nfl is thinking.

I understand that, but GS isnt building Carson for free, even dividing by 2 its more money.

So Spanos wants a new stadium completley funded without his contribution and somehow he is a victim and Kroenke a villain? I dont understand.
I dont recall the financials, but how much $$ does Spanos need to invest in Carson?

Looked like just debt service which will come from revenues first before the teams receive anything.

I'm doing some addition. If the owners approve a New St. Louis stadium, that will cost them 200 mil in G-4, and if they approve the San Diego stadium, that's at least another 200 mil. If they approve Kroenke's Inglewood stadium, they will pay NOTHING, and still get a new stadium for two teams, and save themselves a half billion dollars. I'm quite sure money will be a factor in their decision.

Based on financials alone you have to go with Inglewood just because of our owner.

Different subject brother, Im not comparing San Diego stadium bid to Inglewood. Im comparing San Diego bid to Carson.

We talk about precedent for the NFL to deal with as it pertains to Stan and his plans. I think allowing an owner to relocate because another city allows him to get a stadium basically free of charge is the precedent the NFL wants to avoid. If an owner wants to build and pay for it himself, why would the NFL interefere?

Agreed 100%, I don't see how the owners would vote against their own freedoms and/or flexibility either. It's just not in their best interests.
All of the needles are pointing up for LA.
