How do you know this? Do you think he's trying to fool everyone? Unless that stadium is a complete rules and everyone knows about it I can't believe he'd try to bs the league owners.

I should have put in his interviews but didn't because it was right after the posts on him talking with the media. I had just posted the same thing on ROD in regards to Wyche.

Oh, and pretty sure ripper was referring to the press conference Policy gave, not what was said inside...

It's funny because I frequent a couple Chargers sites and those fans have hated Spanos for years. Yet people in St. Louis make him out to be a saint who's loved by fans and his fellow owners.

I've been wondering from the beginning how the NFL was going to view Spanos' desires. The city of San Diego has been very willing to work with the Chargers in re-habbing and/or rebuilding the Qualcomm site but Spanos wants to be downtown.

Well, boo-hoo. Just because he wants to be downtown doesn't mean there's anything wrong with the current site. The stadium has problems but not the site. And that site isn't far from downtown as it is. It's not like it's out in the boondocks or some suburb. We're talking a 5-10 minute drive to downtown.

Spanos has continually refused to even consider anything other than exactly what he wants. No way should he get rewarded for what he's (not) done.

Sounds like Kroenke has been reading The Ripper.

You know i've said this before but how does Carmen Policy (and Fabiani) get away with just ripping San Diego in pubic the way he does? I mean he's committed to Los Angeles, he hopes the San Diego fans will follow the team to L.A.? How does he just absolutely shit on the city and fans of San Diego, an NFL city, right before the season is about to start and outside of an NFL owner's meeting? How does he do that without absolutely alienating the NFL?

I can only see one answer: Everyone knows it's a bluff.

I could be wrong but i have a hard time seeing it any other way...

Rams are claiming St Louis breached their lease by not meeting first tier requirements thus giving team the right to move.
"Claiming"? What doubt is there? The didn't meet the top tier stipulation the first or second checkpoint and then refused the arbitration ruling.

"Not so Silent Stan Kroenke, Rams owner, surprised people by speaking here for the Inglewood proposal. I’m told it was passionate & powerful".

Well, the well as been well poisoned now.
Cross ownership no longer an issue? Cool! Unless it's a concessional offer to stay put. Probably just making it an easier sell for restoration. As if it needs one.
What ESK is bringing to the table is too good to pass up. StL is finally getting after it but "A source said the Rams (contingent) spent some of their time on why St. Louis did not work for the club..", , We've been calling it for years.
Man that's damning.

Dude has a big azz stick to swing, awesome development , the right team and the wallet to make it work. Sell StL on being a viable NFL city in line for their own expansion team or next smaller market mover.
After every one of these meetings, I sense momentum for the Rams, or more so a failed grip in StL. Carson is a possibility,, but meh. . Inglewood is hurry up and waiting to start. This is starting to feel like (in the voice of Chick Hearn) a slaaaam-dunk!

"But Kroenke has made it clear that he would prefer to return the team to L.A." OMF'nG ..... Music to me eyes :D
