Is that from today or from OTA's? Contradicts Kelly:

Kelly said Bradford will have no restrictions. He also won't be wearing the big, heavy brace that he was wearing earlier this offseason in May and June. The brace has been replaced with a sleeve over his knee.

That is a lighter brace than what he had on earlier. It's still some hardware but it looks smaller than what he wore when playing for the Rams.
Still think it's an old picture from OTA's. Saw video on NFLN and he's just wearing a sleeve like Kelly said.

Not that it really matters. He was wearing the brace when he got hurt last year so he might as well just be comfortable.

And 2 high profile FA running backs in Matthews and Murray. Maybe they will let them use 2 balls?

Whether it's a trainwreck or a great season, Eagles should be hella fun to follow this year...

Sam Bradford, Tim Tebow and other observations from Day 2 of Eagles training camp

By Mark Eckel | For NJ Advance Media
on August 03, 2015 at 2:01 PM

PHILADELPHIA — The second day is always the toughest.

When a player returns from long layoff, due to injury, his second day back can be more important than the first.

Eagles quarterback Sam Bradford, who missed all of last season with his second torn ACL, returned to live action, Sunday. He was back for Day 2 of Eagles training camp, Monday and responded well.

Bradford looked as healthy Monday as he did Sunday, showing no signs of the knee injury is running the Eagles first-team offense.

If he continues on this pace there should be no question that he starts the preseason opener against Indianapolis and eventually the season opener in Atlanta.

Here are some other observations from the Eagles' second day of training camp.

Still Tebow: In the battle for the No. 3 quarterback, Tim Tebow didn't do anything to hurt himself. Tebow continues to make plays and looked extremely good on a late drive where he completed four passes to four different receivers on four straight plays, taking the offense down the field.

TEBOW: There's no in between

Howie Sighting: Deposed general manager Howie Roseman made an appearance at camp Monday. He walked onto the field from his tucked-away office at the NovaCare Complex at 11:47 a.m. about 17 minutes after the start of practice. Roseanne watched from the side of the practice field away from the media.

Dragonfly Sighting: Not sure where they came from, but swarms of dragonflies attacked the Complex Monday. It was something you had to see to believe.

Murray's Back: Running back DeMarco Murray, who sat out Sunday's first practice, was back on the field Monday. He said he didn't know why he was out of Sunday's workout.

Everyone is a Go: With Murray back, all 90 players on the roster, including newly-signed wide receiver Michael Johnson, from the University of Delaware, were on the field, Monday.

One to Watch: He's been mentioned here before, but undrafted rookie defensive tackle Travis Raciti is a player to watch through camp. Raciti, from San Jose State, can be the inside pass rusher the Eagles could use when they go to a 4-3 look.

Biggers is Better: Chip Kelly mentioned him without being asked Sunday; and defensive coordinator Billy Davis did the same, Monday. Free agent signing E.J. Bigger, the former Redskin, looks as if he has the inside track on the fifth cornerback spot. He might be even be in line for the fourth spot.

Pads Come on Tuesday: The team will move to Lincoln Financial Field for one of its two open to the fans practice, Tuesday. It will also be the first time the team puts on the pads and goes full contact.

For me, its kind of like rooting against Washington a couple years ago. The worse Philly does, the better for us.
Id rather have the first pick in the 2nd round next year and no additional 5th rounder vs Philly being a contender that has us picking in the back of the 2nd round with a throw in 5th

Yep. My allegiance is with the Rams not so much yesterdays Rams now elsewhere. To SB, 'Don't get hurt, play well but lose every game'.

Sam Bradford, Tim Tebow and other observations from Day 5 of Eagles training camp

By Mark Eckel | For NJ Advance Media
on August 07, 2015 at 2:28 PM

PHILADELPHIA — Eagles quarterback Sam Bradford had his second straight impressive day throwing the ball both in the 7-on-7 and 11-on-11 drills Friday.

Bradford's best throw, of many, might have been on a crossing pattern to tight end Trey Burton that went down to the one yardline.

The quarterback, coming back from two torn ACLs the past two years, still has to show what he can do when the defense is really coming after him and is actually allowed to hit him. So far he's shown a very good and accurate arm.

Here are some other observations from Day 5 of Eagles' training camp.

Tebow Time: After a rough series in which he went 0-for-3, although one pass could have been caught by former Rutgers receiver Quron Pratt, Tim Tebow came back on his next series in the 11-on-11 and took the offense to a touchdown.

Parkey Perfect: A year ago Cody Parkey was in camp with the Indianapolis Colts knowing he wasn't going to make the team. Now he's a Pro Bowl kicker, with no competition in camp. At the start of practice Friday, the kicker hit on all 15 of his field goal attempts.

RELATED: Why Mark Sanchez re-signed

Right Guard: The battle for the last remaining starting spot continues, and probably will until the middle of preseason. Veteran Andrew Gardner got most of the work with the first team, Friday. But Matt Tobin, John Moffitt and others are still in the mix.

Don't Cry Wolff: The hit of the day came from safety Earl Wolff, trying to make the team as a backup safety, when he leveled wide receiver Seyi Ajirotutu. In a camp without a lot of hitting, it was reminiscent of the old days when hits such as that one happened on a regular basis.

No Murray: Running back DeMarco Murray, who missed two of the team's first four practices, was on the field, Friday. He just didn't partake in any of the team drills. That left Ryan Mathews to impress another day; and he did just that.

Mad Money: One of the visitors at camp Friday was Jim Cramer, business guru, big-time Eagles' fan and the host of Mad Money. Eagles head coach Chip Kelly met with Cramer after practice. It wasn't certain if Kelly was getting stock tips or Cramer was learning about the offense.

Pro-Prosinski: Safety Chris Prosinski, also battling for a backup and special teams spot, intercepted Matt Barkley in a 7-on-7 drill, Friday. It was Prosinski's team-leading third interception of camp.

And, much of the same reason Rams fans are glad Bradford's gone, every time I see this thread bumped I think it's going to be news about Bradford getting hurt.
