Hmm....high-ranking. Are his initials by any chance MF as in MotherF*****?

Funny how that often is the case...

That's why IMO the agreement will be Rams move to LA in 2016 at the Coliseum (50th year) and the Chargers join them in Inglewood in 2018. Spanos will agree because he's not putting up jack and that will be what finalizes the deal, he gives Stan his two years for the right to move into the venue of the century!

That would be an ideal scenario for both teams. But the NFL has to put up a facade feigning interest in keeping St. Louis an NFL market. And they have to do something about the Raiders situation. The best option would be the Raiders moving to St. Louis. But how would the fan base there receive them? They have a small but fiercely loyal fan base in Northern California. I just couldn't see them in St. Louis or San Antonio. Wouldn't be the same.

San Antonio Raiders -- FWIW, there seems to have been a very slight uptick in SA-NFL talk very recently (see below). Yes, JJ and McNair could probably get a coalition to block it, but until then, a 2-30 vote won't block anything. Also, while Mark Davis said "no interest" to StD, I haven't heard him shoot down SA.

San Antonio has caught NFL officials' attention, City Manager Sculley says

Typo for now: NFL calls San Antonio a “team market”

And the other side would probably point to this:

San Antonio is not happening. Just forget about it. Trustttt me please.

It's too close to Dallas and Houston.

Ok, I get that the Spurs work but they've been the best franchise the last 10 years so yaaa. Coach Pop gets it done but an NFL team is SA idk man. Years ago I heard an NFL team to SA and I farted. That's the truth.

Spurs and the Raiders share the same sliver and black color. Nice love story. End of discussion.

Listening to Mara again it didn't sound like he had a preference who will come. He did say if 2 they would argue the minutia of sharing a place. This scenario might be considerably less attractive to ESK,, and especially if he if building the place by himself. If StL gives him a real revenue full offer and the league forces Stan to go 50-50% he could say no to LA,,,,, if he is really all in or not. NFL could push this adgenda to nicely force ESK to stay.. :(

and would award LA to tweedle dee and tweedle dum because of their failure to succeed in their local markets.
